Pick up and drop off is included from hotels and apartments within the range of central Athens area. Your location details are required during the booking process (hotel name or apartment full address) If your hotel/apartment is not accessible by the type of vehicles we use (e.g street narrowness, pedestrian area) we will appoint a nearby meeting point for picking you up. In case that your location details has not been provided 48 hours prior to departure we will assign a centrally located meeting point of our choice for picking you up. You will receive an email from us us with the exact pick up time 24 hours prior departure. No changes can be made to the pickup plan once it has been allocated and finalized. Pickups from Ports/Airports are offered only to the Private tour option. Please notice that pick up commerce starts 40-50 minutes prior departure.

Highly recommend it!! Long drive but once you get there it’s beautiful. Our guide Maria was very nice and explained many details of Greek mythology. Inside the park our guide Friday was also very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information. Then they took us to a nice restaurant with views of the mountains and the sea.

This was a great tour! Servi (probably misspelled) was amazing. We misunderstood to pick up time and she waited for us. It was also colder than normal for this time of year and she accommodated our group accordingly. It is a long day, but Servi made it go by very fast. The museum was great. I think more time on your own would be good. I hurried to the stadium, took some pictures and hurried back down to get back to the group. I had no time to really process what I was seeing. We then went to lunch in Delphi, which was fantastic with a great view of the area. The ride back to town was easy. The tour was well worth the time and money. I would highly recommend doing this tour.

This was a great tour. I didn’t realize I booked a private tour and man did it not disappoint! Roi (I hope I spelled that correctly) was amazing! She was so knowledgeable about the area and stories about history and mythology. I can’t remember the driver’s name but he was so sweet taking us back to get a photo at the spot that had been crowded. Roi at lunch with us and we were able to get to know her a bit more. Such a sweet young lady. She answered all the questions my husband had an was so engaging for the entire 2.5/3 hr drive to and from Delphi. The tour guide at Delphi was amazing too. Highly recommend this tour!!!!!

Fabulous guide! Very knowledgeable - different guide for the actually time at Delphi & the Museum. The guide took us to a family run restaurant for lunch - at our additional expense - but in the village of New Delphi so authentic cuisine. Delicious! It is a bit of a drive especially getting out of Athens collecting up all the passengers (about 16 of us) & then also for dropping folks off at then at several hotels. But we'll worth the time.

Danae was an excellent guide, providing an amusing way of incorporating mythology into Greek history. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Excellent experience. Congenial companions. Delphi was a miraculous find.

Delphi was lovely. Comfortable van. Group was not too big. Our guide Julia was nice and provided good information about Delphi and Greece in general along the way. Time in destination was perfect. Restaurant suggested for lunch was good.

Lovely day trip from Athens. Two stops on the way to Delphi. Tour guide Faye in the van and Carol at Delphi were amazing with loads of information and easy to understand. Information about buying Delphi site tickets online would have sped up the long line ups.

Our day began in Athens with a small group. Although the ride was long , it was definitely worth the trip to Delphi to experience seeing the Oracle . We had a great day and enjoyed a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant and then back to Athens! Dani was an awesome guide and Alexander was an excellent driver.

A very long day. We had a lot of traffic getting out of Athens, but the sites were worth it. Had a bit of a problem getting tickets for the site and museum online on the drive up. Had lunch at a great restaurant overlooking the area around Delphi. The bus guide was good but a little difficult to understand. The museum and site guide was very good.

Wonderful experience. I liked that it was a small group. Our tour director, Faye, is an archaeologist who provided a lot of information on our 2 hour journey through the beautiful countryside. Once we arrived at Delphi the historian (sorry, forgot name) guided us through the museum and then through the ruins. Finally we stopped at a local restaurant for an amazing lunch. A perfect day

The predictions of the ancient oracle of Delphi were important sources of advice for emperors, kings and many Greeks, Romans and other people for centuries. She was THE ORIGINAL influencer.
The mountainside location makes it an effort to see the whole site for those over 70. The museum has an exceptional collection of ancient statues and items found there.
Despite the high cost of the van tour the museum's entry fee is not included .

It was great.
Not sure why the itinerary changed. In that we visited Arachova first for o my 10 minutes when the itinerary said last for 30 minutes. It would have been nice to stick the plan. Delphi may have been less crowded and hot and more time in Arachova. But otherwise a well worth day trip.

Our bus pick up was right on time at our hotel. It was a comfortable small Mercedes bus, although the seats were slightly narrow. Our tour leader in the bus, Dahnee, was excellent, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and funny. Because of the number of pick ups around Athens, it took an extra half hour before we actually got on the road. Once we arrived at Delphi, we were handed over to our tour guide who also did a wonderful job. Unfortunately, I forget her name. We then were taken to a really good restaurant. A few minutes from Delphi itself perched on a hillside, looking down into the valley. All in all this was an excellent trip and we’re very glad we took it. The weather was cloudy unfortunately but did not rain. It’s very dramatic to visit Delphi.

Long drive but Delphi, the museum and archeological site were great. We especially enjoyed the site. It made it worth the 2.5 hr drive. Our guide Lilly was fantastic and took great care of us. If you aren't into seeing the countryside through a mini van window (for 5 total hours) then probably not for you.

Delphi is a must see if you are in Athens as at one time it was known as the center of the universe and the ruins are quite remarkable. Our guide met us at our hotel and we then picked up about 12 others in a small clean very comfortable bus. Beautiful drive about 2.5 hours to the sight with interesting commentary by our guide. Toured the museum and archeological site with another guide who was so knowledgeable. After the tour they took us to the best restaurant for fresh local food. A long day but well worth it.

Very nice, tour leader was new to the business and tended to speak too much about Greek food and not enough about the classical/mythical history we were going to see. At Delphi the other guide was very good, knew his stuff. A long drive for one venue and lunch, I had expected to see more things along the way. Overall, a good experience but could have included more.

This was a very well organised tour with a safe driver and a well educated guide. I did enjoy the tour a lot and would recommend to see it. Delphi is very impressive and on the way we also took some stops for pictures.

The scenery on the drive in the mountains is gorgeous, and the stop in the village of Arachova is also worthwhile for the views. The Oracle of Delphi is pretty amazing, and the guides are very knowledgeable. We also enjoyed the local lunch stop-thank you to Faye and Milos for the fun and safe trip that immersed us in Greek culture and history!

This trip was amazing! Our guide was terrific and so knowledgeable. She provided great details on our ride to the museum. Our guide in the museum was also excellent! We had a beautiful and delicious lunch in the town after our tour and dropped back off at our hotel. Our driver did a great job navigating the easter traffic when returning to Athens in the evening.

Of the 9 hours estimated for this excursion, at least 5 are spent driving to and from Delphi, but you get a stop each way and the scenery is beautiful. Delphi itself was really interesting and very scenic, with a good museum where your guide sets the stage before taking you to the archaeological site. Spring is definitely the best time to visit both because of lower temperatures and lighter crowds, but also because there were wildflowers growing across the site. Our Delphi guide was a local who knew a great deal about the history of the site. Our tour lead, Panayota, and driver, Alexander, were both great and made the drive pass quickly by talking about Greek mythology and history of the places we passed through on the way.

Delphi was definitely worth visiting! Wish we had extra time to hike to the top of the ruins, they only take you up about halfway and then give you 30 minutes on your own. I would have needed at least an hour to get up and back down to the top. You are also taken to a restaurant for lunch on the way back. The restaurant was good, but they passed a small town that they said was too 'touristy' in order to go to the other restaurant. Well, I AM a tourist, i LIKE visiting those touristy towns!!! Looked really cute, wish i could have stopped.
