I had a fantastic day trip from Shanghai to Suzhou with Lin and could not have asked for a better guide! Lin was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting information about the history, culture, traditions, and local life of Suzhou. Her explanations really brought the places we visited to life and made the day much more meaningful. Besides being very professional and knowledgeable, Lin was also great fun to spend the day with. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly throughout the tour. I really appreciated her enthusiasm and the way she made the experience both educational and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the restaurant Lin selected for lunch. The choice of restaurant and the food were absolutely incredible! It was a wonderful opportunity to experience the local cuisine, and it was clear that Lin had put a lot of thought into making the day special. The entire nine-hour experience was very well organised, and I truly enjoyed every minute of it. Lin made the day memorable through her knowledge, her personality, and her excellent choice of places to visit and food to try. Our brief holiday in Shanghai

Tom, our tour guide was a great tour guide. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. This was one of the best tours that I have taken in a long time. The tour covered: the Yu Garden, the Bund, the financial district in Pudong and the Xintiandi district in the French concession. It was an excellent introduction to Shanghai from the Ming Dynasty period (Yu Garden) to the modern 21st century Pudong. I would recommend this tour and Tom for anyone interested in Shanghai.

What an Exceptional Tour of Shanghai

I had no idea that I was in for such a fun-filled and adventurous time. My guide Céline had a great understanding of Chinese history and knew Shanghai like the back of her hand. We covered so much territory in one day with special surprises at every turn; from the malls to the metro, it felt like we visited every angle Shanghai had to offer, albeit zipping thru China’s largest Starbucks, or cruising by the massive Louie Vuitton street vessel, or wandering thru beautiful Yuyuan Gardens or even pooping atop one of the highest observatories in the city to see breathtaking views and take spectacular shots, there was so so much to see. The highlight for me however was seeing a dusk view of Shanghai’s tallest building, Shanghai Tower and its neighboring buildings begin to magically light-up the night’s sky. I’ve been on many a tour during my travels across the plant, but this had to be the most exciting. Thank you Céline for such an amazing and great experience, one which I will never ever forget.

A wonderful day!

An early start, collected and dropped off at train station and met by Summer. Then onto the bullet train to Linhai, which was smooth & fast and we loved the journey. We spent the day with summer visiting the ancient city and then to the wall. A very warm beautiful day for a walk along the wall, to see the views and with lots of stories from Summer. The walks were perfect and lunch was very tasty. A bit of shopping and walk through the ancient town to see beautiful pagodas and then onto the lake before we headed back to the station. A full day which was made all the better by Summer! Highly recommend the tour. A very long day but worth it!

The tour overall is nice, The walk around the old city and the shopping area is beautiful. The waiting time to get in the cruise was longer than expected as it was busy day but as soon I got in the cruise the view was incredible beautiful 10/10 I highly recommend this tour. A smooth experience due to earlier and frequent communication by the tour company!

Excellent communication. Received an invite to start a What’s App chat within a day of booking (even though my reservation was a month out). Two days prior, received my drivers photo and car photo with license plate info. They tracked my flight and kept me updated. Driver also texted me a photo of my hotel with address to confirm the location was accurate (I was staying outside of city center by SJTU). Then after getting my bags, the driver was waiting with my name/sign after customs. Not certain he spoke English, though there wasn’t a need to communicate as I just followed him to the car, which was a short walk to the parking garage. Definitely recommend vs a Didi/taxi.
