Amazing French Concession Tour with Ms. Penny!!

Booked this tour solo (did not have the afternoon tea) with my lovely tour guide Ms. Penny. A very knowledgable lady that gave me some fascinating historical tidbits during our walk around the quarter. Something that was not apart of tour which they accomodated was a french costume photoshoot I brought along for my research and reenactment project which Ms. Penny did an amazing jon helping take the photos. Overall I highly recommend her as well as the tour for any curious travellers wanting to learn about the french procession! Transportation was also provided from my hotel to there and Ms. Penny was kind enough to show me some super useful metro tips for getting to Yu Garden after the tour was over.

I am a Viator user. This tour was one of the best. My guide Mary was pleasant, knowledgeable, flexible and is also a great photographer. My tour was a little bit idiosyncratic, and she was totally flexible. She knows the former French concession well and it makes the tour a delight. Miss Mary our guide was fantastic. Her English exceptional. She took us to places we would never have found on our own, was interesting, relevant and informative. She worked out quickly what suited us. She took us for a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant. My husband is coeliac so needed gluten free. Miss Mary sorted this out. Fun tour eating your way through the French Concession

Such a fun tour! You walk around 3 different restaurants in the French Concession eating different local dishes. Then finish with the most yummy mango dessert followed by local beer. Emma, our guide was so bubbly and chatted away about architecture, food, Shanghai life that it was like being out with a friend. Highly recommend the tour.
