Best time ever!

Hands down, the funnest time ever!!! Amazing staff and guides. I was initially worried about the walk from the cruise ship to the meeting location. They sent pictures in a text showing where to go and meet. No problem at all! We got absolutely filthy on the ride. They have lockers for $5. I would definitely recommend that. If you have a water proof bag you’ll be fine. Don’t think that you can keep anything dry in your pocket. There is a stop at the end on the beach to get the water and get the mud off. And trust me, there’s mud everywhere. Then back to the compound where they have showers to rinse off the salt water. But trust me, between the ocean and showers you’ll still be dirty. It was awesome!!!!

Excellent time!

This was so much fun, just be aware of the hiking, it can be very challenging for some. But it was incredible!!! Daniella and Jonathan were absolutely amazing, they made our experience so fantastic! Both were kind and informative. The only person we didn’t quite like was William, he was extremely gruff and a bit grumpy, almost argumentative. Other than that everything was perfect!!

Rock Star Tour Guide

My wife and I just got back from our cruise which included a stop to DR. We had booked our own personal 5 hour tour with Joseph Alvarez as our personal guide. We had an amazing time! Joseph has great knowledge of his country and really seemed to enjoy sharing the history of DR and took as to some great local locations. He gave us time to enjoy the sights on our own and even took us to a great beachside place for some incredible ceviche and time at the beach. The process was easy and a great value. If we ever get back to DR we will be sure to use Viator and Joseph again.

Great time by all

We had the absolute BEST time with this experience! The monkeys were amazing, the driver allowed us to stop and get some fresh fruit, the pink street and umbrella street were iconic. We really enjoyed our time here and glad we booked!!! Tamares really made this excursion exceed our expectations!!!

Amazing solo trip

This experience was amazing. Thank you to my tour guide Felix, that man was great. For someone that can’t swim he still made the experience for me. Through out the waterfall and the small hike lol he made sure I was safe. The caves, the slides and the drops he made SURE I was comfortable the entire time. My photographer Chris was amazing and got all my shots, he was amazing. Highly recommended checking out the waterfall and booking with them!!

This tour was amazing in large part due to our guide Diomi! He was prompt, informative, friendly, and all around fun to be with! You definitely got a feel of what it’s like to live in the working part of the Dominican. The Rum tour was great and of course tasty! The little shops we went into were also amazing! Diomi made sure we were always within his sights and we felt welcomed! There were 7 people in our group and we all loved it! The pictures Diomi took of us and sent to us were amazing! Definitely a must do tour!!❤️

Amazing experience!

We had the best time! There are 3 guides with your group and you will hike pretty far to get to the waterfall and if anyone is struggling along the way, they help them so everyone stays together and safe. Bring suitable shoes for hiking over rocks because not all the path is even. This was a great experience!

Challenging and Fun

It is not for the weak! it wasnt rushed but I wouldn't recommend for those with major health problems or blood thinners. Otherwise it was fun! We didn't have to worry about bugs, the scenery was mentally relaxing, the topography physically challenging, the waterfalls refreshing! We took our 6 year old who was a little apprehensive at first but did have a good time! I'd take a bottle of water and comfortable water shoes! They give you one bottle but it was not enough. Travel to and from was fine and return to the ship was in plenty of time.

Hits the high points!

Misael, aka Max, was a great tour guide. He arrived at the prearranged pick up point right on time and was friendly, outgoing and had lots of information to share with our group. He had a cooler full of cold water to share. The Van comfortably fit our party of six and was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the sites of Puerto Plata and the beach where we ended our excursion was lovely.

Amazing experience! DR Prime tours was amazing!!!! Would do again and highly recommend! Long walk to van from port but other than that no complaints. Lunch was good.i guess one other complaint was at plantation the pressure to buy jewelry was ridiculous, gave me anxiety! Couldn’t look in store without guy following me everywhere in the store wanting to sell to me.
