Rainforest Adventures, Waterfalls & All the Fun!

Absolutely one of the highlights of my trip to Puerto Rico! If you love hiking AND love the water, this tour is definitely for you! The hike up to the water activities was beautiful, and our tour guide, Francis, was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest and everything in it, while also making sure everyone was safe and no one was left behind. And let me tell you…the natural waterfall slide and rope swings did NOT disappoint! They were so much fun and the perfect way to cool off on a hot Puerto Rican day! A few must-haves: waterproof hiking shoes and goggles — trust me, you’ll thank me later! I would 100% do this tour again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, adventurous, beautiful experience in Puerto Rico! 10/10 adventure — would absolutely do it again!

Amazing rainforest adventure with our guide Enrique. He was super knowledgeable about the rainforest from the soil we walked on to the animals that inhabit it all while making sure the entire group was safe. 100/10 experience from the natural waterside and cliff jumping to eating at the luquillo kiosks; A must see experience for anyone traveling to PR and our guide Enrique made it so much better.

An Awesome Experience!

This experience was wonderful! The staff were all amazing, very helpful, and entertaining! The horseback ride through the rainforest to the amazing beach was something I never experienced before and hope to again. Tuco, my new friend and horse that I had the pleasure riding on was a beautiful horse, a little set in his own ways, but was very gracious! Highly recommend! So fun!

The tour was so fun and Michael was amazing!! More scrambling and climbing than anticipated, which was great for us, but something to keep in mind for older people. Michael was also very knowledgeable and shared fun facts about the rainforest, plants and reptiles. I recommend leaving any big jewelry at home because you will be using your hands to climb and your earrings might get stuck on the helmet when you're going down the water slides.

Best, personalized El Yunque tour - private and you beat the crowds!

This excursion was phenomenal! Because our group was so small and left early in the morning, we missed the large crowds that came flooding in at the end of our trip. Our tour guide Ricky was simply amazing; he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest and our safety was our top priority to him. The natural water slide and rope swing were a blast and Ricky provided us delicious fresh fruit at the end of our tour, which was incredibly refreshing. What I really appreciated was the level of communication the night before and morning of our excursion - Ricky and Jean contacted us via text and provided everything single detail we needed to be prepared and meet up for our trip - they made it SO EASY as we weren’t very familiar with the area. This trip was a birthday present for my daughter; we will never forget it. Oh, and don’t worry about bringing a camera - Ricky took FANTASTIC pictures and videos of us along the way. Ricky, you are the best! We’ll definitely come back.

Single mom, two kids- perfect activity and people!

As a single mom traveling with two kids, this was hands down the best experience. The tour guides were knowledgeable, funny and patient with the kids. They taught them about the area and the nature surrounding us in addition to the Ziplining tour. My kids had an absolute blast! The texts beforehand ensured we were prepared with everything we needed and as a single mom that provided peace of mind.

I enjoyed this tour because there was a bit of everything included. Puerto Rican history along our route, a stop at local frutera stand with tasty smoothies, a calm brief walk through the rainforest, a tremendous view atop the tower, a visual wonder of a waterfall, a relaxing river experience ( you won’t want to get out), and fantastic foodie haven at Kiosks. A fun experience.

I went with my sister-in-law and we both loved the experience. We are novice kayakers and had fun trying to get the rhythm going. Yes we did run into the trees a couple of times and giggled the whole time. Our guides, AJ and Capt Joe were awesome and super friendly. Joe stayed with us at the back of the pack and chatted along the way which was super helpful. Once we reached the bay, we had a few minutes of free time to paddle around the bay or just relax and enjoy the night sky. The moon was waxing and over half full so it made for a bright night (try to plan your excursion during the least moon phase you can). Because it was bright, we were provided a tarp to lay over us to allow us to see the glowing microorganisms in the water. It looked like fireworks or sparklers in the water. It was cool to cup to water in your hand and let it fall to see the little specks of light. (Btw the bay does not glow like the pictures. It’s more of a sparkle). We loved the experience and would highly recommend it, especially with Joe and AJ.
