Spectacular Scenery, Perfect Guided Tour

This tour covered the western area of the island. Stopped off enroute to Sete Cidades for some amazing photo opportunities of the rugged coastline. There was a welcome refreshment stop half way through the tour which lasted around 4.5hrs. Ana, my friendly tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, full of enthusiasm and positive energy. Fog and lashing rain

Despite the storm front that caused exceptionally bad weather conditions the tour went ahead. The guide did a great job substituting other points of interest and providing historical information. In light of the storm front and this being low season we would have appreciated the tour operator taking the initiative to re-book to another day. After all we booked this tour precisely so we could view Sete Cidades off road.
