Fantastic historical tour

Really amazing tour with Anil! I know quite a lot about the history of istanbul, and Anil was a huge wealth of knowledge. We felt he really brought to life the history of istanbul, and the anecdotes and details he shared across all the various monuments and sights was really amazing. Having the guide made a huge difference - we had a great time. It was also really nice to have some choices between attractions, and where we could spend more or less time. Best intro to Istanbul and Turkish cuisine!

We took the Yummy Foods tour with Ali and he was a fantastic guide! Very personable, knowledgeable, and organized. We started off with a traditional Turkish breakfast and tour of the Spice Bazaar which was a good crash course to help us navigate the rest of our Turkey trip. We followed it up with an Iskander kebab, sweet and savory pastries, stuffed mussels, Turkish ice cream, and more. I was full by the end of the tour! I enjoyed the opportunity to take the ferry across the Bosphorus to tour the Asian side of Istanbul. Without a guide, I wouldn’t know where to go. This was the first activity we did when we landed in Turkey and the perfect way to kick off the trip to understand Turkish cuisine.

Great Airport Transfer Servive

Murat was wonderful! The Istanbul airport was very busy and is large. I was traveling by myself so I was a bit anxious arriving later at night. Murat sent me a video of my route to the correct exit. It made it easy! He was waiting for me and escorted me to the driver who was also terrific. Somehow he thought I was at a different hotel but took me the the correct one with no issues. I highly recommend Saw and Murat!

We had a great tour....

We had a great tour. Savaş (Sam) our guide was very knowledgeable and took time time to explain the historical and cultural context of everything we saw. He made a point to tailor our day to the thibgs we wanted to see. Only stressful thing was that when booking, Viator lists the pickup as Celebrity Cruises but with a location 45 minutes away from the actual cruise port, Galataport. I had to reach out to the tour operator to confirm the correct pickup spot. Savaş was great and messaged us ahead. Everything else went perfectly.

Excellent tour

An excellent tour all round and we spent plenty time at each place. Our tour guide Elif was so engaging and funny as well as having a great grasp of the history of each site. And had extra headscarves for the ladies for the Blue Mosque visit. The only disappointment was that the Hagia Sophia ( which has been a dream of mine for many years) was covered both inside and out with scaffolding and will be for decades to come. But Elif still took us to the important places inside it Highly recommended all round.

My husband and I...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Cam, was punctual, engaging, interesting and very knowledgeable. We gained so much more from seeing these sites with Cam such as local insight, good photo spots, being able to ask questions of areas of interest etc. Without a doubt, I would recommend this tour to anyone. What a fantastic experience! We absolutely loved our traditional Turkish bath! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and pampered. The beautiful surroundings, warm atmosphere, and wonderful staff made the entire experience so special. The traditional scrub, bubbles, and massage were amazing! It was the perfect combination of relaxation and a unique cultural experience. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and completely spoiled! Old Crone Boat Review

Went on the cruise with two women in their upper 70s. They both enjoyed their two hours on the water. One chose to stay inside and the other was outside. A good sampling of Turkish snacks to include baklava and fruit/nuts were included. One thing I would have liked to have changed is that the pickup time is not the same as the one shown in the listing. We were under the impression that we were being picked up at 5 pm when the reality was they stopped by at 4:30pm. I would have appreciated being informed of the meetup time prior to departing. Staff was kind to my mother with walking issues and she appreciated getting a front row seat with ouch standing in line for it.

Great value and beautiful views

Really beautiful experience, especially the sunset boat! We booked again to do the Twilight boat since we have someone else coming to visit us and we thought this would be a nice way to see the city. Really great value. I’d recommend getting there early if you want a good spot at the beginning, but about 45 min or so into the boat, everyone spread around.
