Best of Athens Half Day Private Tour

We had a private car tour to visits various sites around Athens. Our guide, Ozzy was positively wonderful! He infused the day with the history of the region and of the site we were visiting. His approach and sense of humor were excellent! We were provided ample time to visit the various sites, explore, take photographs etc. The day was relaxing and unhurried and Ozzy made us feel comfortable and at ease! We highly recommend this tour and this guide. Prior to the tour I had several questions and contacted the operator who was responsive and accommodating and wanted to ensure us that we would have a positive experience and we definitely did! This operator and guide deserve five stars in every category! Oh, and our meal In Philadelphia which was included in the tour was excellent and a perfect ending to our day. We can’t say enough positive things about Ozzy! He was one of the most pleasant, easily understood and accommodating guides we have had on any Viatour! He is a model for customer service and knowledge. He made a wonderful experience for us. Thank you! We will be back to Greece for sure! In case you’re wondering, the number of steps from the base parking to the top of St. George’s Church is 158! Careful climbing up and down, but it is worth the hike! A beautiful vista of Athens and the church awaits! Take this tour it’s excellent and the price is right for individualized attention and a very pleasant day!

Amazing Experience

Amazing Experience and worth the climb. The 1st monastery, St Nikolaos, was the hardest climb. The 2nd, Varlaam Monastery was easier, larger and more beautiful than the 1st. Holy Trinity was the last and smallest. The photo stops were well planned and breathtaking, with locations used in Game of Thrones and 007 For Your Eyes Only. Don’t be last in line for lunch. The guide was locally raised and well educated in the local history. A tour not to be missed.

Great paced Acropolis and Museum tour

Our group was small., about 14 people and the meeting location was easy to find. Our tour guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable and funny as well! He was ver engaging and made the pace slower for us “older” folks. He shared so much information but added funny details that kept us engaged. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens!

Best Food Tour Ever

My goodness this was a incredible tour. We had so many varieties of Greek Food and all the food was so delicious. Peter our guide took time to tell us what each food item was, how it was prepared if it was locally grown. He took us to so many establishments that we had to take our last item home as we could not take another bite. When I come back in the summer I hope to have Peter be our guide as he was 5 Star

This is a "can't miss" experience on any trip to Athens if you haven't done it before. The museum is fabulous. The tour of the Acropolis is almost surreal. Our tour guide, Dr. Michael G. was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he have an incredible command of the information and history, he was a very personable guy and provided us with a lot of enjoyable moments.

Poisiden Temple and history of Greek Gods!

This was an excellent tour and our tour guide Marie was amazing. She definitely knew her history of Greece and all the Greek Gods! The Poisiden Temple was another amazing piece of history! We loved the view of the Aegean Sea and the beautiful landscape! We also visited the most spectacular lake that was both salt and fresh water! Our driver was excellent and he got us through the unreal traffic with no issues. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone!

Fun day trip from Athens on luxury yacht with friendly staff!

My friends and I had a wonderful time! The yacht, Omega, is modern, spacious, and clean. The whole crew was friendly and fun. The bartender kept the wine and beer flowing. The light breakfast was okay, but the Greek lunch buffet was amazing! Everything was so delicious! Bring/wear swimwear and bring a towel. Also bring a jacket as cruising could be windy and slightly chilly. Overall it was a nice day trip from Athens!
