What are people saying about Washington

If you’re questioning...
If you’re questioning whether you should take this tour, just do it! This is money so well-spent — this was a real highlight of our trip that our kids will talk about for years to come. Our tour guide, Joel, was knowledgeable, funny and kind, and he seamlessly got us into the park and into really special places — spanning forests, lakes, the mountain and more —that we never could’ve seen on our own in one day. After this, I may very well never consider visiting a national park without taking a tour — this just made it so much easier so we could focus on really enjoying the experience and the sights.

Great peak into the past
Good way to learn about the old times of Seattle.
They were very nice and helpful as we were running a bit late and they accommodated us kindly and allowed us to join the next tour so we didn’t miss the intro.
The tour was informative and the guide gave us a very dramatic rundown of the city’s history

Multnomah Falls
Dan is an amazing guide! His knowledge of the history of the area is impressive! The tour of several falls including a Wahkeena,
Bridal Veil and Multnomah then finishing with a tasty meal at Multnomah lodge was amazing!
I highly recommend Dan as a tour guide!

July 20 Waterfall Tour
Our tour guide John was wonderful Identified various trees and gave a history lesson on use of the moss grown on trees and areas used in the show Twin Peaks. Beautiful tour and very happy to see an area I wouldn't go to on my own. The downside was scheduling. Asked for 12:00 pm tour. Confirmed for 8:00 am. Cancelled by company and changed to 1:00 pm. Good! Most members of our group arrived before start time. Three did not. John tried several times to contact scheduler to inquire about missing three with no luck. Waited until 1:22 and departed. All on tour were on vacation and schedule activities to see and do all we can in allotted time. Very rude to be late and potentially cause delays for those on time and penalize tour guide.

Exception Day Trip
Our family had an amazing trip today to the Olympic National Park. Our guide was Marty and we throughly enjoyed the day with him. He was friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. In addition the company communicated exceptionally throughout the booking process and they were able to tailor the tour for our needs. The day will be a memory that we cherish forever. The ferry ride over, time on hurricane ridge, the waterfall and crescent lake are more beautiful than I could have imagined.

The ultimate Seattle introduction!
The perfect way to experience and learn about everything Seattle has to offer! Our guide, Steve, was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see the best of the city in a single, comprehensive day without feeling rushed. It’s also a fantastic way to get your bearings and figure out which spots you want to explore deeper during the rest of your trip. Highly recommended!

5 Stars—Highly Recommend Evergreen Escapes and Marty!
5 Stars – Highly Recommend Evergreen Escapes and Marty!
We booked a Mount Rainier tour with Evergreen Escapes while visiting Seattle, and honestly, it was one of the best parts of our trip. From the start, everything was incredibly well organized. They picked us up at our hotel and reached out the day before to confirm the pickup time and let us know exactly what type and color vehicle to look for. It's a small touch, but it immediately gave me confidence that we were in good hands. Our group only had 10 people (their max amount of guests on a trip), which made the experience feel much more personal. The van was clean, modern, and comfortable, with plenty of room to stretch out during the drive. On the way to the mountain, our guide Marty stopped for a restroom break and had fresh pressed coffee, tea, hot chocolate for our kids, and several delicious breakfast breads from a local bakery. What really set this tour apart was how much Marty knew about the area. Even before we got to Mount Rainier, he took us to several off-the-beaten-path spots with beautiful waterfalls and amazing forest and mountain views that we never would have found on our own. We happened to visit over the July 4th holiday weekend, so the park was packed. Traffic into the Paradise area meadows was being controlled by park rangers (rightfully so), and the estimated wait from where we were stopped was over two hours. At that point, it looked like our chances of reaching the famous wildflower meadows we wanted to see were pretty slim. That's when Marty really showed how experienced he is. Instead of sitting in traffic, he came up with a plan--he found a safe place to park and led our group on a lesser-known, but established trail. The hike was about a mile and moderately challenging, but it ended up being one of the highlights of the day. We walked through beautiful forests, stopped at incredible overlooks, spotted black bears in the distance eating huckleberries, and ultimately made it to the meadows and the incredible views of Mount Rainier that everyone had come to see. When it seemed like the holiday crowds might derail the day, Marty found a way to make it happen. His knowledge, flexibility, and positive attitude turned what could have been a frustrating situation into an unforgettable experience. After exploring the mountain, we hiked back down and enjoyed a fantastic lunch that the Evergreen Escapes team had prepared near a waterfall. The day still wasn't over—Marty continued taking us to scenic viewpoints with incredible photo opportunities on the drive back to see the mountain and other great natural areas. We were so impressed with Evergreen Escapes that we booked a second tour with them to Olympic National Park later that same week. This company truly thinks of everything. They provide water, snacks, and even hiking boots if you need them. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience. I can't recommend Evergreen Escapes, and especially Marty, highly enough. If you're looking for a small-group tour with excellent guides, great service, and people who genuinely care about making your trip special, this is the company to book with.

Perfect day trip!
Our tour was exactly what was advertised on Viator.
The vehicle was clean, snacks were provided, and all stops were accounted for.
The highlight of the tour was our guide, Slava. He is a Renaissance man. He carries a knowledge and outlook that is vast. He noted vegetation, rock formations, and animals throughout our journey. He has wonderful sense of humor, and insight.
Slava, was a professional town car driver for many years, and used the skills he acquired at that profession to navigate us out, around, and back to Seattle.
Thanks Viator & Slava for delivering a wonderful adventure. It was unforgettable!

My new favorite mountain
The tour was great with amazing views! Our guide, Susan, was very knowledgeable and passionate about Mt. Rainier. She made the experience very memorable and you could tell that she wanted us to have great views of the gorgeous mountain and water falls. Although the skyline trail was moderately hard in the beginning, the view of the Mountains were worth it. I would recommend wearing hiking shoes/boots for the hike. We were also fortunate to see two marmots and a black bear. Overall, a lovely day!

This was a wonderful way...
This was a wonderful way to see and get a sense of the many water features in Seattle including spectacular views of Mt. Rainier. As someone who lives in Seattle, I have seen the locks from land many times but going through them was a memorable experience. I would hightly recommend this tour to everyone, locals and visitors alike.

It was great! Oscar was...
It was great! Oscar was the perfect guide and just what I was hoping for...someone who really knew the area and was excited to share that knowledge in a fun and casual way. When we go on family trips, I always joke that we need a backseat biologist, or geologist, or whatever expert would be able to answer all our questions. That's exactly what this was like, only he also did the driving too! We would definitely recommend this to everyone looking to experience the Hoh Rainforest inside and out!

Fantastic Tour of Seattle with Mario!!!!
We had a fantastic three hour driving tour of Seattle wonderfully presented by Mario. His detailed descriptions and presentation of the city, its architecture, history and neighborhoods was truly remarkable. We had amazing stops at the most interesting places and he tailored the tour to our specific interests and needs. We think Mario is a fantastic tour guide and we couldn’t be more pleased. We highly recommend Mario for any tour he may offer.
