Matthew was a wonderful guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to meet any needs or requests of the tour group. I am not a person who typically enjoys nature related activities but wanted to try something new. This trip changed my perspective on National Parks and outdoor tours. An Exceptional Day at Mount Rainier with Megan

I had an amazing time on the "Best of Mount Rainier National Park from Seattle: All-Inclusive Small-Group Tour" and much of that was thanks to our wonderful guide, Megan. Megan was incredibly patient, friendly and helpful throughout the entire day. She safely drove us the two hours to and from the national park, making the journey comfortable and enjoyable. Her thoughtful touches, such as preparing coffee, hot chocolate and delicious banana bread for the group were greatly appreciated, especially on a cool day outdoors. She also took care of our lunch arrangements, allowing us to focus entirely on enjoying the experience. What made the tour particularly memorable was Megan's enthusiasm for sharing the park's natural wonders. She introduced us to centuries-old trees, pointed out fascinating banana slugs and shared interesting information that helped us appreciate Mount Rainier's unique ecosystem even more. To top it all off, our fellow travel companions were delightful, making for a warm and enjoyable group atmosphere throughout the day. Highly recommend Miles Hike Club!!

I had the best hike today! My guide Ryan was great! Super knowledgeable about the Seattle area and surrounding hiking spots. He took me on a lovely hike to Lake 22. Ryan was great company on the hike and geared it to my ability and interest, injecting local facts and trivia along the way. They were also able to accommodate my schedule. Awesome day, I highly recommend!

Our guide, John was...

Our guide, John was wonderful! During the drive there and back, he pointed out places of interest and gave us some history of the area. Same during the actual hikes. He was patient with the slower members of the group. The trails were beautiful and challenging. One had to watch where you put your feet; lots of rocks and tree roots to navigate. Hiking shoes are a must. There is some long elevation to climb. Definitely not a hike for those out of shape (and the excursion description does warn of this.) Loved the old growth forests we hired through.

It was great! Oscar was...

It was great! Oscar was the perfect guide and just what I was hoping for...someone who really knew the area and was excited to share that knowledge in a fun and casual way. When we go on family trips, I always joke that we need a backseat biologist, or geologist, or whatever expert would be able to answer all our questions. That's exactly what this was like, only he also did the driving too! We would definitely recommend this to everyone looking to experience the Hoh Rainforest inside and out!
