Mother/Daughter trip to Victoria

You have the option to buy the tickets to the shuttle to and from the garden as well as buying the garden ticket ahead of time. Also, while you are riding the shuttle to and from the garden, the driver gives a great history of the island and of the Butchart family. This was a wonderful experience for me and my mother.

The drive from Langford to Malahat Skywalk was absolutely beautiful. There is ample parking at no addition fee, the staff were friendly, check-in was a breeze. They have done a fantastic job of providing activities for all ages and fitness levels. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Captain Francois delivered.

Francois, with his first mate Lindsey, and crew of very knowledgeable naturalists Eden, Amber & Michael. Did an outstanding job of finding us a pod of Orcas feeding we just watched in awe as time after time the appeared breaking the surface to breath. All the while Eden, Amber and Micheal were explaining their habits, what the were feeding on and also about the diving birds which were in the area as well. We were on their larger boat with all the amenities. Top tip for when you do take this not to be missed trip, do take their advice and bring layers as when the boat is speeding along it gets chilly.

We had an amazing time on the whale-watching tour! The experience was exciting, well organized, and truly unforgettable. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great view and enjoyed the experience. Seeing the whales in their natural environment was incredible, and the whole trip was relaxing and fun. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. What others should know Bring a jacket or warm layers because it can get chilly on the water, even when the weather is nice. Also, keep your camera ready—you never know when the whales will appear! 🐋📸 Overall, a fantastic experience and absolutely worth doing.

Excellent Experience, Fab Food, Great Group

Our city and food guide, Wendy, did an excellent job. She knows the city and is a great advocate for Victoria and its food scene. She took us to seven locations and all were very good. My favorite was the Korean Korndog, although every restaurant was very good. In addition we had a great group of people from around the world. The food was really good and there was enough that you will leave satiated. Thanks Wendy!

Best whale tour in town!!!

Captain Raj is amazing. We had so much fun on their new zodiac. The experience was really great. I was concerned about the chop on the ocean because of a back injury I've been recovering from. But the seawave seats are super shock absorbing and I never once felt like the boat was jarring.

Worth It

We had an amazing experience with Orca Spirit as Josh the Captain lead us to some excellent locations. Before our trip out, there was a pod of 5 Orcas in the Inner Harbour. There was a lot of activity with a pod of Orcas sharing/celebrating a big kill and we even caught a breech. We then were witness to couple of Humpbacks doing deep dives and showing us their massive tails. Sealions galore at Race Rocks ... Plug your nose lol. Josh was very informative and a fantastic guide.

Impeccable Views

As a surprise and rather spur of the moment purchase, I got tickets during a trip to Victoria BC for my boyfriend's birthday, after we got off the Clipper. Neither of us had been in a smaller plane before and the photos looked really gorgeous online. It was extremely smooth buying the tickets, arriving and being checked in, and getting into the plane itself. Although both of us are slender, I'm a little curvy, the seats were extremely small. The seat belt and the floating device were almost painfully tight to put on, and the seat itself was quite tiny. Of course, we fully anticipated this, but if you're a female presenting person with full hips, know it may be a little uncomfortable. The plane was also prepared with ear plugs, should the noise level get too high. The views were absolutely impeccable and stunning. Would highly recommend if you have a little spending money to take the time and do the tour! Thank you to the pilot and staff for making an amazing experience for us.

Wow what an absolute shambles experience seeing the Orcas in their natural environment. OK the poor sea lion didn't enjoy it as he was their dinner but what a spectacle. The team, from the receptionist girls to the boat driver , and Catherine and Jake the guides were superb.
