What are people saying about Ulaanbaatar

This tour was pretty...
This tour was pretty good. It ended up being 3 cars of us total (some thought it would’ve been better had they gotten a bus, but I think it would’ve taken longer to drop us off at the end). The statue was really cool. They offered activities there too: taking pictures in traditional dress, holding an eagle, doing archery, riding a camel, but I think the animal ones were sad and inhumane, so I would’ve preferred not doing that. Lunch was decent — they had a lot of vegetarian options. The activities in the national park were also cool. Climbing turtle rock was not for the faint of heart since it was somewhat steep rocks. Coming down was scary, but manageable. The free time at the temple was really cool. Beautiful views and paths to walk. I recommend this tour.

Great tour
It is a relaxing trip where you get your own driver. That means it can be flexible if you wish. Our driver was very helpful and had a great sense of humour. We saw what we hoped to see and avoided the riding, but that was our decision. Highly recommend this tour.

Five star service with personal touch!
Excellent introduction to the major sights around Ulaan Baatar. Jana was very knowledgeable and provided amazing insight through out our trip. We were traveling with small children and she was very patience and understanding. Hope to see you on some other trip when I am back. Won't hesitate to book again!

This tour starts with Soy...
This tour starts with Soy Bee greeting you at your hotel wearing traditional Mongolian clothing. We then went to Soy Bee's ger just on the outskirts of Ulaanbatar. Don't eat breakfast before this tour! We were presented with a huge breakfast of traditional Mongolian dairy products and breads and milk tea. Soy Bee doesn't just just show you how to cook traditional Mongolian food he also talks about Mongolian culture and food. Soy Bee is so passionate about his heritage, my husband and I learned so much about Mongolia . We learned to make traditional dumplings with sheep heart and tail fat. I admit I was a little nervous about eating sheep heart but the dumplings were absolutely delicious, they were better than any we had in restaurants. We also made a delicious soup with noodles and boiled mutton. We then learned how to play a traditional game using sheep bones. This cooking class was an incredible afternoon of great food, Mongolian hospitality and culture. I may not make the dishes we learned how to cook but I now have a much deeper understanding and appreciation of Mongolian culture and food.
