I had an incredible...
I had an incredible experience on this 2-day tour! The sites we went to were beautiful, the hikes were all reasonable, and the group had great dynamics. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and greatly enhanced the experience (I feel terrible for forgetting how to pronounce/spell his name, but this was the tour may 23-24th — give him his flowers!!!). The horseriding and eagle hunting demonstrations were highlights for sure. The van was comfortable and not at all overcrowded, and our driver was great. The yurt site had a lot more around than I expected (other yurt camps and some other small buildings/people), but being on the shores of the lake was great —and there was WiFi, which was nice! Beautiful stars at night too.
Note - while we expected we’d be back in bishkek around 8pm on day 2, we ended up making it there at 10pm. But this was likely to us taking our time and not rushing at our stops on day 2! I definitely recommend this to all travelers!

Amazing day with Azamat...
Amazing day with Azamat as a guide. He had such detailed knowledge of the countries history and managed to convey it in a perfect fashion to keep it interesting as well as educational. Perfect your to see the few spots we didn't manage to see yet on our trip, well planned. Lunch was tasty!

I would definitely...
I would definitely recommend this trip to see the stunning mountain scenery. Our guide was Tolegan, he was friendly and knowledgeable and tailored the trip to our needs. Overall it is a fairly easy hike. There were good facilities in the national park and we stopped enroute at a supermarket for any drinks or snacks.

Awesome tour!
Edgar, our guide, was the one that made this experience truly awesome! He was very informative, full of patience, and a well of information about the place, the country, the nat6park and the city. He was amazing and we were extremely grateful to have him as our guide for the combined Ala Atcha NP and City tour.

Waterfall Hike
I really enjoyed this hike to the waterfall. The views were amazing the whole way up. My guide was very good and stopped a store to pick up our lunch before the hike. He was fun to talk to and made it a very enjoyable day. This is an easy tour from Bishkek. The tour operator had excellent communication before the tour. I would highly recommend.

Great insight into life in Bishkek
Our guide Faruk was great. He gave us detailed information about Bishkek and its sights, and, in addition, shared his personal knowledge and life stories with us, which gave us a much better understanding of the country and the city. His engaging personality and enthusiasm contributed greatly to the thoroughly enjoyable time we spent with him – way more time than the 3-4 hours mentioned in the description on the website. We had already taken a city tour and expected more emphasis on food. Faruk was flexible enough and happy to adjust the itinerary to better suit our expectations and did add some more information we did not cover on our other tour.
That said, the title “Food Tour” is misleading. Although we were taken to 3 restaurants – a coffee shop, a location that serves a special snack, a local restaurant for lunch, and tasted our way through the food section of the bazaar, the other part of the tour was a general city tour which included the major sites in Bishkek. I would suggest the description of the tour include a more inclusive description of the itinerary, perhaps “Food and City Tour”.

Beautiful Scenery
Despite the rainy day, our group got on really well together and enjoyed the hike, including up to Broken Heart Rock. Nurlay was very helpful, friendly and polite. Four of us wanted lunch after and Nurlay took the trouble to find a Navat for us. Would recommend this trip!

Fantastic canyon, literally breathtaking!
Burana tower was interesting but not spectacular, compared to other Silk Road sights. We then had a small traditional snack which was great. Then on to the canyon....involves a long walk, through narrow ravine, with use of ropes to pull up rock falls on maybe 8 occasions? I have bad knees but the guide and fellow traveller helped greatly. Then ravine opened up and what a view!! Absolutely fantastic and 100% worth the effort of getting there. The guide was 100% too.

Great morning trip from Bishkek
Chose this as it was only half a day and as a solo traveller I wasn't charged a premium like nearly all other tours. The guide Beki explained a bit about Kyrgyzstan on the hours drive to the national park. Once at the park Beki showed us the way and never rushed anyone in the group.... Which was nice as I am not very fit! There were 3 other travellers and we shared a car rather than a minibus.
Personally the flat walk in the park was a bigger highlight than the steep walk to the Broken Heart rock, which was optional, but glad I put the effort in!
For the price I would 100% recommend.

Ala Archa National Park
I and our private guide went outside Bishkek and went to beautiful Ala Archa National Park. We were able to hike as far as I wanted. There were stunning views and bold red squirrels. We then drove back for a city tour. Since I had already seen most of it before, we just went to the main mosque. We then had a nice lunch.
