Our tour guide was amazing. He came direct to our hotel to collect us. Nice clean air conditioned car and water provided. We did a full 8-10 hour tour of Ubud. We saw everything on the itinerary and MARTA was happy to rearrange the itinerary if we wanted and we could shorten and lengthen our visited stops as we wanted. He took time to answer our questions about everything. We asked about the finer points of Hindu etc and he took his time to explain it to us so we understood. Amazing experience from start to finish! The views at Mount Batur were absolutely beautiful, especially at sunrise. A huge thank you to Agus and Mansetia, who were both fantastic. They looked after us really well, made the whole experience fun and comfortable, and were brilliant at taking photos and videos for us. The jeep driving was great too, and we always felt safe and well taken care of. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bali. One of the highlights of our trip!

My driver and guide,...

My driver and guide, Gusti, was absolutely amazing when it came to this experience. Punctual with timing and considerate with the information he gave me, he went above and beyond teaching me the history of the temple, finding me the best place for the dance and was incredibly flexible with the dinner options to choose from. He even managed to get back a phone that was stolen from a monkey at the temple! He was amazing and really helped drive the entire experience.

This trip is a once in a lifetime experience. Our first driver Candra was super accommodating in picking us up from a different hotel than the ones listed! He picked up our tickets and tigave us detailed directions for our venture. Our next guide, Wer, was the best! He knew exactly where to take us at each location on the island, navigated the crazy traffic and parking phenomenally, and would give us time and space to ourselves whenever we wanted! The destinations were superb, but keep in mind that the roads between the locations are unpaved and rocky! The boat back to Bali was also very choppy! Booking was easy. Communication about pick up & itinerary was great. I had Wayan Genting as my driver. Genting was smartly dressed and a good driver. Spoke good English and made sure I got my helmet & boots at the ATV place. He waited patiently and even looked after my bag during the excursion as all the lockers were full. He is very trustworthy and I would recommend him as a driver. The guys running the excursion were very informative and kept us all safe. as a solo 65 year old traveller, I thought I might lag behind but the leader kept me tucked behind him and I just followed what he did. It was heaps of fun, more hills and tunnels than I thought. The end part hooning around in the water was an extra highlight. Definitely recommend

You travel in a group of about 10. There is one guide on each end to make sure the group travels through and not get lost or stuck. You need to let the person in front of you go ahead some before you start going to be able to get some speed and thrills, otherwise it’s just heavy braking and a game of “follow the leader”. Awesome excursion. Staff is very helpful and smiling. Free lunch helps also. This is for first-timers and experienced riders.
