We had a great time on this tour. Our driver, Dekirr picked us up from our villa and was so nice and even stopped at an ATM for us after the tour. Our guide, Redita, led the way all the way up the mountain and was very encouraging and went at our pace as we trudged up. The sunrise at the top of the mountain was the highlight of my Bali vacation and I cannot recommend this tour and our guides enough. The early morning is rough, and the hike is hard but the view is worth it. HIGHLY recommend hiking boots, a jacket and hiking poles for this hike.

Early pick up is brutal...

Early pick up is brutal but worth it for the sunrise. The hike is intermediate level, some steep sections but doable and you can take your time, the guide stops for breaks and has good knowledge. Natural springs were a bit busy but had multiple pools mainly with hot water and one pool with cold water. Also visited a coffee plantation which was a good addition. Would recommend packing snacks as a long day with not a lot of food.

What an absolutely magnificent morning from that early pick up to the drop off…. Our mountain guide Agus was beyond exceptional, so friendly and caring. He really looked after our group, as parts of the hike were hard…. This trek is not for a novice who’s expecting an easy walk up a hill… it’s steep and requires a decent level of fitness. Thanks Agus really appreciate your time energy this morning and making my experience one I will never forget. It was spectacular.

Mount Batur Trekking

We hiked Mount Batur this morning and it was amazing! Our driver Jero was perfectly on time and communicated well where and when our next stops would be! Our guide for the hike, Ramon, was super considerate and knowledgable about the surrounding areas and Bali itself. He was courteous when we wanted to take a break and was super helpful when it got to trickier parts of the hike. The hike itself was pretty difficult (not for the faint hearted) but the views at the top were breathtaking and made it all worth it. We were given breakfast and a hot drink during the sunrise which Ramon made for us! The hot springs after the hike was a nice time to relax, very warm and had good facilities.

Had an amazing moment ! Our driver was adorable and made sure we were enjoying the ride and all the stops of the day. And our guide Putu Nawang was extremely nice, supportive and careful during the entire trek, and give her best efforts to take pictures and videos of us so we can keep beautiful memories of this wonderful view!

Jero and Nita were the unsung heroes of the day. Jero was a punctual and safe driver ensuring that we got to all of our destinations promptly. Nita was an ABSOLUTE angel. This hike was a wee bit more intense than I believed (honestly those expectations were due to my fault not the tour group. I had quite a bit of difficulty on the first leg of the tour. Nita was able to pair me with a driver that took me to the top of the volcano with ease. I was reunited with my group once they reached the submit. On the way down, there were quite a few slick and steep areas and Nita was there every step of the way to guide and encourage. Afterwards, the hot springs were very rewarding after the trek in the morning. The coffee plantation experience was also excellent. I cannot recommend this tour enough but truly Nita and Jero deserve every bit of praise. It would not have been the same without them

Når man booker igennem viator, så vær opmærksom på, at turen ikke skifter efterhånden som man kommer igennem bookingen. Vi troede at vi bestilte en privat Jeep tur til solopgang over Mount batur, men istedet fik vi billetter til en fælles trackingtur. Vi fik dog efter lang tid overbevist firmaet om at der måtte være sket en fejl, og de gav os den tur vi havde betalt for. Chaufføren ( ikke guide ) Pur var en sød men meget træt ung mand, hvis engelsk kunne have været bedre. Dog var han fleksibel i forhold til ruten vi kørte retur til hotellet. Smuk solopgang, og fin Jeep tur.
