Fabulous Day Cycling downhill in UBud
This was a definite highlight of our trip to Bali !
We were picked up at 7 from the hotel , the drive to UBud was lovely giving us a greater sense of the island. We started our day with a lovely breakfast in local restaurant, the visit to the tea/coffee plantation and sample was fun. The bike tour was wonderful mostly downhill so easy cycling Sundana waa a lovely guide. Visiting the temple and getting the local traditions waa great . The visit to a family compound was so nice any everyone so welcoming . Seeing the rice fields and cycling through local villages was very special. Plus we say the vocano and lake. At the end we had a lovely meal back at the same restaurant, savouring Indonesian dishes and desserts. I would highly recommend this excursion. At the end we were dropped back to our hotel in Canggu

Just do it!
This was an excellent day with the perfect combination of stunning scenery, culture, fresh air, good company and food. As it's almost all down hill and on quiet roads it was easy to ride the bikes. Our guide gave us a great insight into Balinese life and culture. I would highly this tour!

Amazing experience!
This was an amazing experience! We loved our guide Kadek. He took us to the coffee and tea tasting, the ziplines over the rice paddies, bicycle tour through the villages and rice paddies, breakfast overlooking the scenic volcanoes, traditional balinese woodmaking store, and delicious lunch in the owner's home. Such an incredible day with Kadek!

Blue Lagoon snorkel tour
We had a great time on the snorkelling trip, picked up and driven to and from by Riko. He contacted us to confirm the pick up time and location and was very friendly and helpful. The snorkelling tour was excellent, the two that took us out on the boat looked after the group and the lunch venue was great. Recommend this trip, great value and well organised.

This Experience is Worth So Much More!
This experience will be your best! Come with your patience and artistic skills you will need them both! The gentlemen are family, so kind and professional, art is their way of life and they have so much joy helping others to appreciate their tradition, a quaint homestead with a shop, clean restroom, with snacks and cold beverages to keep you focused! Thank You Gentlemen for your kindness and hospitality!

No real effort to smile a lot!
As a cyclist this is not really a cycling tour, but that is not a bad thing. No real effort is required to get you down that volcanoside from village to village but what you get is series of glimpses into a rural life in Bali. Well worth it, an experience that will leave you smiling, a lot.

Beautiful temples, rice fields and coffee.
Such an inspiring trip with Rikey. He showed us a typical Balinese house and talked interestiingly about life and customs here. We saw temples, rice fields and after a lovely lunch with a spectacular view, went on a coffee tour. We sampled delicious teas and coffees before heading back. You will learn so much on this trip and I can’t recommend it enough. We are a couple in our early 60’s.

Adventures in the Jungle - ATV’s, monkeys, & waterfalls 🌴
Had a great day with my 14 year old nephew. Wayan was super lovely, pointing things out and telling us about the local culture & areas. We had a fun but brief ATV ride, as we realised the activity wasn’t for us.
Wayan was so accommodating taking us to our next destination early, after we had a tasty buffet lunch (the chicken skewers and veg fritters were my fave).
Initially we walked the monkey sanctuary alone, but Wayan encouraged us to see the monkeys with a photographer - it was so much better because they call the monkeys to meet you & take excellent pics! The photographer isn’t paid, but makes money if you buy a photo from them. I bought 3, totally worth it to support the locals who look after the area with respect, & have a fun souvenir to take home!
This park is nice because they are more careful that tourists follow safety rules, so the monkeys haven’t picked up bad habits (like theft and hissing).
Wayan took us for a surprise stop at a coffee plantation which my nephew and I really enjoyed. We got a mini tour and of the grounds & demonstration on how the coffee is made, from harvest to powder. After this, we sat in a lush, tranquil garden cafe & were provided with a completely free sampler of various specialised teas & coffees (plus one delicious hot chocolate). You can purchase some to bring home at the gift shop. My nephew and I both loved the mangosteen tea, and I was happy to take a box home with me.
The waterfall was great to see, and people were swimming underneath it, which looked nice & refreshing. Regarding accessibility- the stairs are very steep, deep, and uneven, but many older people were still walking down - just a little slowly & carefully. I got my exercise today for sure!
It’s been a fun & lovely day - I recommend the tour, and certainly recommend Wayan as a guide and driver 😊
