This is the only night hiking adventure inside a National Park 35 minutes away from Panama City, this experience begins at 6:30 pm with the transition from daylight to total darkness at the entrance of the Pipeline Road inside Soberania National Park, this service road was reopened in 1988 by the Smithsonian Institute so that their scientists could have a safe area to explore and collect samples in the forest, without the risk of entering directly, this is a dirt gravel road, my tour offers you the opportunity to feel the sounds of the rainforest at night in a safe way, possibilities to see insects and exotic plants, this tour is not to see animals at night but it can happen with luck, we provide headlamps for everyone and a poncho. Great trip for wildlife

Very well organized and timely managed trip. Juan was very knowledgeable and shared very interesting and relevant information with us about wildlife, animals, history and culture. We managed to see lots of animals, wildlife and biodiversity that Panama offers. We would highly recommend this trip with Juan as a great way for half day wildlife exploration. We were a family of 2 adults and one 9 years old kid. Juan was very kind and patient with our kid's questions and inquiries.

Soberania National Park Hike with Kiddo

Our nature walk through the Soberania National Park with Christian was quite the experience. Christian helped us spot howler monkey, capuchin monkeys, coatl, agouti, and many different birds. The walk can be long and hot, so be sure to prepare kids accordingly and perhaps give the guide reasonable expectations for what the kids can handle. Make sure to bring water and snacks. I would definitely recommend going early and while a guide may not be necessary, it certainly made our experience more enjoyable!

Great guide, really kind,...

Great guide, really kind, knows the area really well, knows a lot about the wildlife. It was an interesting and fun afternoon. Really recommended to visit it with a guide because otherwise you risk to miss plenty of animals and more information about them. Due to damage or maintance works the current choice of trails in the park is limited to the main forrest road. The park also allows some cars there on the first part of the forrest, which is a small nuissance. The animals made up for it cause they were very active in that part and of course the guide is not to blame for this . Once beyond the car part, the hike became really nice.
