What To Expect
Meet your guide at your hotel in the Tamarindo area for a morning departure. Climb aboard an air-conditioned minivan for a short drive, or choose to meet there.
Choose between a less intense route, suitable for first timers and families, or challenge yourself on the adventure course.
Don a harness and helmet and fly over the canopy of a tropical dry forest over a series of 11 cables, keeping your eyes peeled for a variety of animals like howler monkeys and iguanas that call the forest home. Take in the view of the mountains beyond from the 13 departure platforms between cables.
At the end of the tour, purchase food and drinks onsite (own expense), or continue straight back to your hotel.

This was great! We decided to drive ourselves and were navigated to a different company of zip lining called black stallion ranch but it worked out for the best because they had nine super fun lines of zip line. Would highly recommend going to the black stallion ranch zip lining. All of the staff was very accommodating and nice and didn’t have a single bad moment.

Overall a must do in Costa Rica! A zip line adventure thats family owned. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The whole thing is safe and secure. In our group a 3yr old did it! (Zip lined attached with his parents). Drove in to the zip line adventure location. You can select for pick-up but it was no problem getting there with a rental! Make sure to wear sunblock and Hydrate! A few steep climbs but the zipping cools you down. Will do again!!! PURA VIDA

I did this experience with my mum who was quite scared and not the best with her balance. The guides were very confident with safety and super patient with her. Would recommend.

This was great! 9 ziplines and only 30 minutes from Playa Conchal. Know up front you’re zip lining through trees on tall hills/mountain, not the rain forest. Great value and very friendly employees. Transportation was included.

Fun time with helpful staff. First time ziplining so didn't know what to expect. Only reason not rating it a 5 was that our transportation to the activity never showed up. Had to call to get it resolved. After contacting Viator chat, first response was that our pickup location was outside the area, even though I had a confirmation with the tickets that clearly stated my pickup location. What's the benefit of getting confirmed reservation using viator if it doesnt really mean confirmed? Later I eventually found a direct number to the Black Stallion company that operated the zipline and they came and picked us up (we were not outside their area). They handled the problem quickly. Next time I will try to bypass viator and try to book in a more direct way if possible.

Great! Our kids loved it, felt super safe. Guides were very kind and nice, kids enjoyed riding tandem with them on some lines. Easy pickup from JW Marriott, then a quick 20ish minute ride to the zip lines.

When we booked the tour online, we were told there would be 11 zip lines to enjoy however when we got to the tour place itself, we were told there were only nine. They were on time picking us up from our hotel and I always felt safe getting hooked into the zip lines. The last zip line was the longest and they had us go down as a couple which I thought was cool. I’ve never seen that with two adults on the same zip line. I highly recommend this tour and we paid the extra $$ for the photos that they emailed the next day!

My daughters and I had an excellent time doing this excursion. The staff was friendly, helpful and instructed us on both safety precautions and how to have the most fun during the zipline. Only reason I didn't give it a 5 was because it was very dry so the vegetation was burnt out and no animals were out due to the heat. Not their fault AT ALL but something to be aware of during the hot season (early Spring) if you are looking for what the pictures reflect.

Such a fun zip lining option! We went from tamarindo beach area, was good because we got back by noon and still had the rest of the day to enjoy the beach. The zip lining area also has animals which a bonus. The tour guides we’re very kind and made the experience really enjoyable, couldn’t recommend enough!

We had a wonderful time going zip lining at Black Station. Carlos, our driver, picked us up at a convenient location. We were staying in Tamarindo and this course was only a short ride away. Horacio, and Marcos were excellent teachers and gave us a safe and fun experience! Would highly recommend this company and this tour!

Came to celebrate both me and my dad's birthday and I've never zip lined before but wanted to do something unique and adventurous! Even though I was very nervous, the guides Giovanni and Stuart were amazing, making sure to carefully explain how to zipline, safety features and thorough with the instructions! They helped put me at ease and although the first cable was a little frightening at first, by the third one, I felt like I could've done it all day! We had another group join and everyone was so friendly and fun that it made the experience even more memorable! It was relaxing, exhilarating and beautiful all at the same time! Pick up from our hotel and back was prompt and our driver Raynor was so friendly and shared a lot of great info about Costa Rica! I highly recommend this tour! Combine it with the ATV if you can! I'm sad we didn't do that part! But highly recommend it! It really is Pura Vida!!

This zipline tour was amazing! The zip lines were very fun and the guides were kind and helpful! We also got to see howler monkeys and you could hear then the whole time which was cool. Definitely recommend this trip!
