It was great! Definitely...
It was great! Definitely take shoes you don’t mind getting wet since we did have to step in the water to get in the boat. We were able to see Crocodiles birds monkeys and crabs! Carlos was also an amazing guide and showed he genuinely cared for the animals and environment of this tour.

Highly recommend the surf instruction here
Great experience. They were easy to find and we both got up and rode the waves. They knew just which area of the beach would have the best waves for beginners and more experienced surfers. If we come back, we will use them again. The instruction and knowledge of the beach was excellent.
Avoid buying smoothies on the beach though, one smoothie and two bottles of water was $50 US. The area does price gouge tourists on food, etc. a travel size stick of deodorant was $10 US.

This was a wonderful...
This was a wonderful experience. Note all the things they ask for you can leave on your car or at the starting point. We took it with us and would have loved if someone told us we could have left it. It was alot to carry. The views were beautiful, our guide Alejandro was great. The food was delicious too and the juice was so refreshing. We are so happy we made the 2.5 hr drive for this experience

Must do!
This was a once in lifetime experience and we will have amazing memories for a lifetime. The tour is physically demanding as a multi terrain hike. Our guide Christian was absolutely fantastic! He was knowledgeable and put all of his guests safety first. This tour really is a must do! As a tip, we recommend standing in the bed of the truck on the way to the drop off point to start your adventure!! 10/5 stars!

Coffee & Chocolate Tour + Sloths Park & Llanos de Cortez with Dairo
The guide, Dairo, was very pleasant and informative. My husband and I had a private tour to Llanos de Cortez Waterfall and a coffee, cacao, and chocolate tour in Bijagua. We had the chance to see sloths, an eyelash viper snake, a red-eyed tree frog, a porcupine, and many more animals in the park. Finally, we enjoyed a very tasty lunch at a local family restaurant.
If you want to truly enjoy Costa Rica, see its wildlife, and visit beautiful and historical places, I highly recommend the Coffee & Chocolate Tour + Sloths Park & Llanos de Cortez with Dairo

Amazing! We went last...
Amazing! We went last month and I can’t remember our guides name but he was amazing. Very informed and answered any questions we had about the area. Honestly he was AMAZING. The sloth tour was amazing as well. Nothing crazy exotic but the guide for that pointed out all native animals and showed us how to take expert photos. Had a beautiful time and loved the food

“Mom’s First Zip Line Experience and the Crew Was Everything”
Great experience: We did this as a family of five, a teen, three adults, and my mom who is in her 70s and had never been zip lining before! Costa Rica was already on her bucket list, but this tour made it truly special.
The crew was amazing. They were so kind and patient with my mom, cheering her on and helping her through every single zip line . Couldn’t recommend this enough!

Great day trip
What a wonderful day trip. We started by having a delicious authentic Costa Rican breakfast at a local restaurant . The hike through the rainforest near Arenal Volcano was beautiful. Lunch was tasty. Nes was a great guide. The day ended with a couple of relaxing hours at the hot springs.

Hernan was great!
Hernan is one of the most incredible guides I have ever had anywhere in the world. His university studies for being able to be a nature guide is so obvious in his knowledge and understanding of the intricacies of the dry forest and the wet forest and the animals and plants that inhabit it. We did the loop trail and learned so much about plants, transition zones, animals, and the geology.
His answers were never just a few words, but were obviously educated, detailed understanding and expression of the way these things all relate to each other and the beauties that they hold.
Absolutely outstanding!

A great day, a great guy and a great boat driver
Juan was a wonderful tour guide!
The group size was fantastic, nine people.
Both Juan and the boat driver were superb at finding wildlife as we cruised the banks.
The lunch was delicious with very nicely prepared fish with local accompaniments. They were very accommodating for some strict dietary guidelines that one of our friends had. I myself have some physical limitations that they were careful and accommodating with concern about my welfare and my ability to enjoy the day.
We would certainly recommend this to anyone and would consider redoing this trip if we return.

Great party atmosphere!!...
Great party atmosphere!! We had a wild time! This is a great tour to do if you just recently arrived in Tamarindo and are ready to party! The guide was fun and he always made sure that no one got left behind. The locations that you visit are all beautiful and different from one another. The bus ride home at the end was out of control - in a crazy good way! Bring a small cooler so you can drink on the bus. I wouldn’t recommend this tour for non-drinkers!

Exactly the excursion we were looking for in Tamarindo
Our excursion with Carlos was absolutely incredible. The tubing and cliff jumping/rope swinging into the lagoon was so much fun. The second trip which included a jungle hike (we saw howler monkeys, snakes, and iguanas) and swimming through a raging river in a cave to one of the most beautiful waterfalls we’ve ever seen was like nothing we’ve ever done before. Our local lunch was peaceful and delicious before the final hike and massive waterfall. We enjoyed free coconut water and story after story from our guide Carlos, who made sure we had as authentically local of a trip as possible. He also provided water, tea, beer, snacks, and stopped for bathrooms/quick shops whenever we asked. Carlos could not have been a more fun or knowledgeable guide - if you are considering booking this excursion, do it. There is zero chance you will regret it. Pura Vida!
