What are people saying about St Augustine

Do this early in your trip so you can follow up on Ross's suggestions later.
Ross shared about important history in St. Augustine. We followed up on several of his recommendations. Had an amazing dinner at the Drunken Horse restaurant. Went to see Cora Tyson's house. Next door to her house is the ACCORD Civil Rights museum which had a meet and greet the next day that we attended. Extraordinary visit with eyewitnesses to the events in 1964 in St. Augustine that helped push the Civil Rights Act through a filibuster in congress. Also toured Flagler College.

Wonderful, very informative tour of Historic St. Augustine!
This tour was my favorite part of my St. Augustine trip! Kevin was very informative, engaging and knowledgeable. Even the kids really enjoyed it! Because we were on foot, we were able to walk past some construction zones and see a church much better than if we were driving on the street. As I read in other reviews before I went, our tour also took 2 1/2 hours (although Kevin said that we could end earlier if we needed to). He gave us lots of good recommendations of other things to see, and which places allowed tours inside so we could come back later. I highly recommend this tour!

The guided tour with Nancy was incredible, a must do tour!
This is a power packed tour. Nancy, our guide and driver was extremely knowledgeable. She gave historical facts and information that was very enjoyable. Nothing boring, lots of humor and interaction. St Augustine has so much to offer and Nancy was kind enough to share everything she could. This tour is a definite must do!

Excellent tour, amazing tour guide!
Our tour guide, Scott I believe, was a natural story teller. He was very knowledgeable about the area, with many fascinating experiences to share. He even worked in a few food, drink, and hotel recommendations that I would like to try on my next visit. I took 3 of my family members on this tour, one of whom is wheelchair bound. About 30 minutes prior to the tour, I finally thought to call and confirm that the walking route was wheelchair accessible. Scott personally answered my call with warm assurance, and remembered my group as we later joined the tour. He knew every bump, crack, and hole in the streets on his route, and gave us ample warning for every hazard, recommending smoother paths, all while he walked backwards in the dark! Despite some naturally uneven terrain, we all enjoyed the tour and would do it again. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Augustine.

Informative, Fun, and Spooky in the Best Way
I had a fantastic experience on the ghost tour in St. Augustine. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and the stories behind each location. The way he introduced every tale and explained the ghost activity made the tour engaging from start to finish. He answered all of our questions with patience and detail, and he made sure everyone in the group felt comfortable and included. I enjoyed it!

Fun hearing the history...
Fun hearing the history that Renee shared. We loved the venue choices because we had not seen them. We are going back today to visit some of the shops we passed. Food was great and accommodating for allergies. Great group of people to share our time with.

Adam is an outstanding...
Adam is an outstanding guide, personable and full of wonderful information about St Augustine and its history. He was very open to questions and comments during the tour. He made an effort to speak with all of the folks on the tour. The tour itself was a gentle roam about 90 minutes.

Ask for Tom for the private city tour of St. Augustine!
After having had a prior disappointing private tour the day before I was extremely skeptical of this tour.
I was so pleasantly surprised to not only enjoy the experience but to learn so much about St. Augustine’s multi- faceted history. All the credit goes to our tour guide Tom. I’ve been in countless tours all over the world but can honestly say that Tom’s ability to bring a city to life for his customers is top notch.
First he was pleasant and put us at ease. Then he explained what we were going to cover and why. Then throughout the 90 minutes proceeded to share wonderful stories of the history of the city that was both captivating and educational. I couldn’t believe how quickly the tour came to an end. In addition, Tom was nice enough to come pick me and my 97 year old mom up and drop us off at our hotel which was close to the tour operator’s location.
Private tours are pricey and as customers we have high expectations and expect to get our money’s worth. In this case, Tom ensured we did and I feel went above and beyond.
I would highly recommend you ask for Tom if you are looking for a great and informative private tour in St. Augustine. You won’t be disappointed!
THANK YOU TOM!
Thank you for listening!

The Foodie Tour
The tour was a great time. Gary took us to some exceptional food spots. Everything we eat was delicious. The portions per person were all a good size and everyone left the tour feeling full. We even skipped our dinner reservation. During the tour Gary told us a little history and some short funny stories about his lived experiences. I would recommend this tour.

A great way to experience St. Augustine!
Jenna was an absolutely wonderful guide! Her enthusiasm and lively storytelling made it a great night. She was so knowledgeable about all of the sites we visited as well as the true crime stories the tour covered. The bars were amazing too, would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area!

History with a Haunt
Kevin was amazing. The history he gave of the city was top notch and the way he explained the paranormal activity attached to each site we went to was great. This is not your typical Ghost Tour, but if you love history mixed with hauntings then this is the tour for you.

Bill is funny and knowledgeable
Bill was a very good tour guide. He was friendly funny and knowledgeable. We took our 9 year old and he was so excited. He knew all of the answers to the ghost equipment questions and even got to use the EMF. lots of history shared. I wouldn’t call it spooky but it’s definitely fun.
