The best way to experience the Cape

This experience is a great way to discover Cape Town and the surrounding areas with a knowledgeable and experienced guide who does everything they can to maximize your experience. Our guide, Kelvin, was professional, knowledgeable, and entertaining. He helped to take pictures, educated us about the area as well as other South African topics including history and government, and made sure everyone in the group was getting the most out of their experience. 10/10 experience that I highly recommend to newcomers to the area or someone trying to see Cape Town through fresh eyes.

An Interesting and Emotional Experience

A great overview of Johannesburg its surrounds and its history. Visiting Constitution Hill where both Ghandi and Mandela were imprisoned for a time was very interesting. The Apartheid Museum was emotional and confronting. The guide at the museum was amazing and very knowledgeable. We were there for 2 hours but could have stayed longer to really take in all the information. Our visit to Soweto, Nelson Mandela’s House and the Hector Pieterson Memorial was also informative and very touching. I loved learning about the history and culture.

I thought the tour guide NaNa was really great because she was kind, honest, informative, and personable. There was a lot of commentary provided as you drove. The drive between stops was never too long. Overall I really recommend it if you want to see a lot in one day!

This trip, for the cost is well worth the $. I would suggest just meeting the tour at the ticket office near the aquarium, as opposed To other locations and transiting back to type aquarium location to begin the tour… it was a. Our driver Thabo was excellent & our tour guide Megan was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, & fun! The lunch was great & the chef was friendly & personally greeted each table. What a great experience, the elephants, zebras, rhinos, wildebeest, gazelles, etc. were amazing! I just wish the cats would have made an appearance but they were coming out early in the day. Lovely wine and good food!

A perfect day away, including TEN wine tastings with an extra two bubblies (not champagne because we are in SA), and that doesn't include the wine with lunch. Lovely cheeses and chocolate accompaniments and a full meal that left everyone satisfied. An amazing way to spend the day if you have some free time in Capetown.

Sedick and the Captain arrived on time and were fantastic throughout the day. Their mix of knowledge and humour was perfectly balanced, making the day very enjoyable. The scenic drive to Cape Point was stunning and we were kept informed of what everything was. Boulders beach was the highlight for me, personally. We had just the right amount of time at each place. This is an excellent tour, and a big part of what made it special was our guide, Clemente. He was warm and friendly, and it was clear he has a deep knowledge of South African history and of every site we visited. At each stop he had something interesting to share about the place and why it matters historically, so we came away having genuinely learned a lot. We were a group of ten, which we really enjoyed — it gave us the chance to chat with the others and swap travel stories along the way. One thing worth knowing if you’re booking: because the tour packs many landmarks into a single day, it moves at a brisk pace. Each stop has a set amount of time before you head to the next one, so you do need to keep an eye on the schedule. That’s not a good or bad thing in itself — just something to be aware of. If you’re after a more flexible, leisurely day, this might not be the ideal format. In our case, we had only a short time in Cape Town, so it was perfect: we got to see all the most important highlights in one well-organized day. If that’s what you’re looking for, this tour delivers 100%. We thought it was great and would happily recommend it.
