What are people saying about Sorrento

Beautiful experience!!
This was such an amazing experience! The family who owns the farm is kind and welcoming. They provided transportation to and from Sorrento to their lovely farm. At the farm, we learned about how to make pizza and had an incredible hands-on experience. Almost everything we used was from their farm- from the sauce which was made from their tomatoes, to the fresh mozzarella that Anna’s (our instructor) mama made fresh. Truly beautiful experience for our family- one we won’t forget!!

Exceptional Day
Our boat day experience was exceptional. Our family ranged in ages from late 40s all the way down to five years old. The snorkeling was fantastic. The tour of the grotto’s was beautiful and the few hours we spent on Capri was fun and filled with delicious food and gelato. The staff was incredible and really helped keep my five year-old nephew entertained by teaching him about the boat. We would absolutely do this to again, and I can’t say enough about the staff and how wonderful they were.

Incredible Farm tour!!
La Masseria farm to table experience was incredible! Raffaele, one of the sons of a family run farm was so good and funny! He brought us all around their farm and we got to see feed the goats and cow and see chickens and pigs. They grow everything there and they have hundreds of olive trees and over 800 lemon trees. We’ve seen it all then got to drink fresh lemonade and taste the different olive oils they make-I even purchased some at the end. We then sat down for a Tuscan lunch with fresh tomatoes & olive oil, omelet w eggplant and pasta with capers and olives. They also served red wine that they make which was delicious and had lemon cake. Everything was fantastic and we met the whole family which made it really special!

Capri Trip
Where to start!?! What an amazing day - we booked this trip as part of our 10th wedding anniversary celebrations in Sorrento. Marcella, our guide, met us promptly at the port and made sure we had everything we needed for our day. She directed us to the ferry, made sure we were adequately informed of how the day would run and directed us on our arrival in Capri. She organised our day perfectly meaning we got to go on the cable car as well as into the blue grotto. She also recommended a great restaurant for lunch. All the drivers were great and I don’t think I would ever organise a trip like this myself instead using Viator.

Situated between Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento is a gateway to Southern Italy that’s well worth exploring on its own. Admire the town’s artisan shops and seaside views with a local guide, then visit a lemon grove to taste limoncello made with Sorrento’s famed citrus. You can also hire a boat to Capri, swimming and snorkeling until the sun sets, or hop between the picturesque villages on the Amalfi Coast by boat or car. Yet another option is to hike the Path of the Gods, a cliffside trail with sweeping vistas of the colorful coastline and Bay of Naples.
