What are people saying about Siem Reap

Highly recommend David as a guide
We booked the sunrise tour with David and it was so insightful! He is extremely knowledgeable about Angkor Wat and was able to answer all our questions, even those regarding the temple's smallest details! We also enjoyed listening his stories about the temple's history, such as the sibling feud between two Khmer kings. He and our driver, Mr Nak, also took very good care of us, providing us with cold water and cold towels between stops, which was a lifesaver in the Cambodian humidity, and he was excellent at taking photos!! Not only is he charismatic and has an excellent command of English, he is also very intelligent and we learnt lots about Cambodia's socio-political context, from the Khmer empire to modern times! It was definitely an enlightening tour that we will never forget.

Wholesome Experience
Loved our cooking experience. All the ingredients were fresh and the dishes turned out to be very delicious and efficiently made. Can’t wait to try out all the recipes back home. The intro the local market and gardening culture was a nice touch. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a nice intro the Cambodian food culture.

Comfortable Ride w/ English Speaking Driver
Siem Reap downtown is about one hour from the airport. There was nowhere to write in the time of arrival so I assumed they heads someone on call and when I arrived, J had a ride in about 10 minutes. Plush van that could fit 6 easily. The local service is significantly less expensive ($8USD) and very accessible but our driver was excellent and it was comfortable so we booked both ways.

Perfect Tour
I had an amazing experience on the Kampong Phluk floating village tour with Mr. Chout. Visiting the village was one of the most interesting and eye-opening experiences of my time in Cambodia. Mr. Chout was incredibly knowledgeable and explained so much about daily life on the floating village, from how families live and work to how the entire village changes between the dry and rainy seasons. What made the tour special was how he brought the community to life through his stories and explanations, helping us understand the challenges and traditions of the local people. It was fascinating to learn how dramatically the landscape transforms throughout the year and how residents adapt to those changes. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Siem Reap. If you’re looking to go beyond the temples and gain a deeper understanding of Cambodian culture and local life, this is a must-do experience. Thank you, Mr. Chout, for such an informative, engaging, and memorable afternoon!
