What are people saying about Siem Reap

Possibly even better in the dry season than in the wet.
We were fortunate to have Tom as our tour guide as he provided excellent information and was well known to all the locals at the village. He is a very friendly man. Walking among the houses and looking up at them all on poles was quite amazing as it gave you an understanding of how high the water gets (something that would be difficult to imagine in the wet season). We also saw houses sitting on the ground on 44 gallon (200 litre) drums that allowed those houses to float when the rainy season starts. We climbed up to a house to see how people lived inside. After that it was a short boat ride to Tonle Lake were we saw shrimp traps, fish traps and then had the opportunity to buy food and drinks at a floating restaurant. We did this trip in the morning rather than the sunset trip which meant that it was not so hot. We were then in Khmer New Year which meant they will not drop you back to your accommodation in the evening at that time.

We had a wonderful tour...
We had a wonderful tour with Mr Rith and driver Mr Nak. Communication was fantastic from before the tour until the end. We felt thoroughly looked after including the quality of the tour information (it was clear Mr Rith had a considerable knowledge of the Ankor Wat and surrounding temples) the cool towels and water after each stop (very grateful thanks to Mr Nak) and the careful consideration of where was the best place to get some excellent photos (Mr Rith has caught some amazing pictures of our family together) and the timing of attendance to avoid the queues as much as possible. We do not hesitate in recommending both and thank them for a very special tour that we will always remember.

Unforgettable memories
It was a wonderful one-day experience! The Angkor Wat tour included visits to Bayon Temple and Ta Prohm Temple, which made the day even more special. Our tour guide, Sath, and our driver, Mr. Phallit, made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. They picked us up from our hotel in an air-conditioned van and provided cold water, umbrellas, and refreshing cold towels, so we always felt cared for. They also brought us to a lovely family restaurant where we had the chance to relax and enjoy delicious local food. Sath shared fascinating information about the temples, Cambodian history, religion, and traditions, which made the experience even more meaningful. It was an amazing day full of adventure, surrounded by friendly and genuinely kind people. We couldn’t have asked for better service and highly recommend this tour. Special thanks to Sath and Mr. Phallit — we will definitely be back soon!

Amazing tour. Very helpful and knowledgeable guide
Our guide Mr Leap was very knowledgeable, explaining the history and the stories behind each temple. He was very kind and paid a special attention to our children. Watching the sunrise over Angkor Wat was incredible. Air conditioned mini van was a welcome relief during the hotter than usual temperatures. Our driver was very helpful, meeting us from each temple and transporting us to the next one.
