This was an amazing cooking experience! We first got to do a short market tour! Then we made 4 delicious dishes (and there’s a large selection that you can mix and match if you’re with a group)! The class was super interactive, the hosts were so fun, and the space was large and allowed space for everyone to cook (Everyone got their own station to cook all 4 dishes)! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Siem Reap!

If you're looking for a change of pace from all the temple hopping around Siem Reap, this is a great unique experience that you should book.
Sorya was a great guide and teacher for this cooking class. We got to see a very local produce market that is critical for the locals in this area.
There was a choice of foods to prepare from a menu that included an appetizer, main, vegetable, and dessert choice. So you can pick what is suited for your tastes or for what you'd like to learn. The food was delicious and was easy to follow along. Sorya gave clear guidance and let you adjust the dishes to your seasoning preferences. She also spent time throughout the experience to capture great photos throughout the cooking class.
If you're in Siem Reap, take a few hours out of your day to book this experience!
What a lovely experience we had!! Soryia took us to the market and took time to show us the different meats and vegetables while we also learned about daily life in Cambodia. King Kong made our cooking experience so fun and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend!!!
This was GREAT! King Kong was very informative and entertaining. There was plenty of food and his instructions were clear. There was also a nice variety of menu items to choose from. When I come back to Cambodia I would do this again!!!
The Khmer Cooking class was a great experience and a must do if you come to Siem Reap. We learned 4 dishes each to our preference. The instructor, Kong (King Kong), was funny and patient and provided excellent instruction. He took pictures and videos as well. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The whole staff is amazing and took such good care us. My husband started to feel dizzy and they were immediately responsive and helpful (he's fine). I finished the class and they were kind enough to pack up our food to go and assist us into the tuk-tuk. The driver escorted him into the hotel and made sure to hand him off to hotel staff. Such a compassionate group of people.

The cooking instructor was fantastic
Have taken cooking classes in many countries and enjoyed this one very much. I really liked that we had a choice of what to make for each of the 4 courses which often isn’t the case. There were 8 in our class, each with our own cooking station. We were divided into two groups of 4, and each group had an instructor. Our group was with Sorya. She was super funny, her English was great and she took tons of pictures which she sent to us at the end. Also appreciated there was a western style toilet available in what seemed to be a very clean bathroom. Food was definitely enough for a full meal, but I saw there were to go containers for some people who didn’t finish, which was also a nice touch. Would def recommend to someone visiting. Felt like a good value.
Soriya and Sivorn were amazing teachers and made the entire cooking process so simple to understand. We were able to choose our own dishes and they guided us the entire way through. They were also incredibly entertaining and were a joy to be around. Highly recommended!

I had a great time at Khmer Cooking Class.
First we were taken to the market nearby where we were told by our guide Kong that the vendors we have visited were paid as well to contribute to the tour. We were able to interact with their goods which was a great experience.
Back at their kitchen, Soriya was such an enthusiastic chef, very lovely and funny. I love that we are able to participate in the cooming. Overall the food we made was great and their team deserves all the recognition

You get picked up by tuktuk who takes you to the cooking school studio: already a fun time! (King) Kong did the class with us, which ended up being only 2 of us. We picked our recipes, got to chopping and cooking. Very clean and well organized and Kong has a lot of personality! He took pictures throughout for us. And the results were tasty! Honestly the lunch was better than the food we got at the hotel!

We were picked up from our hotel & were lucky enough to have just one other person in our group, making it feel really personal and relaxed.
We started with a visit to the local village market, where we got to experience a typical Cambodian market and learn about the ingredients we would be using.
Then it was on to the cooking school, where “King Kong” talked and walked us through our chosen dishes step by step. He was fantastic — knowledgeable & entertaining!
After all that cooking, we sat down to an absolutely amazing feast of everything we had prepared. 😋
The whole team at Khmer Cooking School were so friendly, welcoming and genuinely passionate about what they do. It was such a fun experience, and we walked out feeling like master chefs! 👩🍳👨🍳

We had a wonderful time! Learned a lot at the local market, then traveled to the “house” for our cooking class, where we selected our starters, entrees, vegetables, and desserts - and then prepared them. All the dishes came out fantastic despite our limited cooking experience!

We loved learning how to cook Khmae food! They picked us up at our hotel so it was a smooth process for us. They took us to tour the local market which was a lot of fun. Then we went to cook. Each member of our group chose to make something different so we could try everything. It was all delicious. Sorya was a very good teacher and took great pictures to send to us as well. I would highly recommend this experience.
This was a highlight of our trip. King Kong was a good teacher. Cleanliness was important. We washed all of our own food. The flavors were wonderful. We each picked and prepared our own menu.
Afterwards, he took us to the market and explained how they select food. It was interesting watching them make coconut milk.
This experience is well worth the time and money.
Amazing time, outstanding hospitality. But meant for beginners and not serious foodies or chefs. Kong and team kept the class interactive.

I’ve just come away from a wonderful afternoon, hosted by Sorya. I was picked up on time and then we when around a local food market and then on to the school. It was great that we were each able to choose what we wanted to cook from a menu with various choices. And we had a fun afternoon, learning, cooking, chatting and then eating our feast! There were only 4 of us in th class too, which I liked. I would thoroughly recommend!

Sorya and Bok Choy has been incredible and informative in the cooking class. Surprised how fast we were able to cook many dishes in a short amount of time. She was funny and answered all of our questions. If you like getting something out of your trip to take away with you, book this, you will learn a lot.

Excellent trip. Picked up at hotel, brought to cooking school to choose our four dishes each. Walk around local market was very interesting - very local and no tourists. Cooking class was informative and very fun and relaxed. Hygiene was good. Food was really tasty. Cooking school will send us a lot of photos and recipes. Highly recommend.
