It was such a great experience to see the Cambodian countryside. I really enjoyed seeing the land and animals up close and personal. I overestimated my ability to cycle in the humidity, however the team was very kind to me and made the trip super enjoyable! Ron Roem is a knowledgeable and kind guide. He made sure we stayed hydrated and bought us tasty treats at the market!

Amazing way to see the real Cambodian agricultural community lifestyle. Ron is an outstanding guide who made sure we were all comfortable and cared for.

Great Bike ride with Rith!

MichelleSzymojko, Feb 2026
Rith our tour guide first helped me adjust my bicycle to my height, but then proceeded to give us a vast education on each one of our stops. He can also have a back up career as a photographer because he truly took fantastic pictures of all of us. Was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon and the sunset was incredible.

Great ride through the country side

Bianca_A, Dec 2025
I did this tour on my first day in Siem Reap and it was one of my favourites (great way to stretch your legs after a long flight)! The terrain is mostty flat and the tour is accessible to all cycling levels. You'll get to see beautiful landscapes along the way (we visited a family's herb farm, a mushroom farm, a local market, a pagoda and lotus fields). The guides were great! Would strongly recommend.

Our trip didn’t start...

Jean_K, Jul 2025
Our trip didn’t start well, as was waiting awhile for pick-up from our hotel, messaged Viator contact, no reply! Managed to contact the trip agency, Siem Reaper travel, they responded very quickly and were fast & efficient to arrange from there onwards. Apparently they did not receive any notification from Viator on my family booking! Advise to reconfirm directly with the trip agency the day before. The bike tour for my family of 4 with 2 teenagers went well and our guide Vandy took good care of us and explained all the stops we made: mushroom farm, rice wine farm, market, Buddhist temple and lotus farm. Opportunity to experience and see up close, life in the Cambodian countryside. An eye-opener, especially for city-kids.

Beautiful Country

Sides of Siem Reap

Trish_M, May 2025
Excellent communication leading up to the experience. Siem Reapers were very safety conscious and made sure everyone was able to keep up with the group. The visit to the rice wine distillery, mushroom farm and lotus farm were outstanding. The day was very hot (39C) and we probably stayed too long at the lotus farm before heading back to the store.

Ron Roem super guide

gellandrew, Apr 2025
Stunning trip where you will see parts of the country you simply wouldn't ever see. Ron Roem gives a brilliant tour round rural siem riep. Can't praise it enough. It's quite a decent ride about 25km and bumpy but you won't regret it

We had such a great time on our tour with Vandy. He was very knowledgeable and personable. The market was a highlight for me. The places we stop seemed very authentic. Highly recommend.

This was one of the best...

Leah_s, Feb 2025
This was one of the best tours I have done! The whole trip was well organised from pickup to drop off. The tour felt very authentic and the route took us away from the more tourists spots in Siem reap to the countryside, passing farms, locals and temples on the way. It was my guide JR though, who was new to the role who made the whole experience even better. He was friendly, accommodating, informative and just a really nice genuine guy. Thank you JR you were great!

Terrific Siem Reap Bike Ride

Bradley_G, Jan 2025
We rode very nice Trek bikes into the countryside outside of Siem Reap. We stopped at a local vegetable farm, a mushroom farm and a Lotus farm. Our tour guide, Vendy, was a gracious guide and was very knowledgeable about explaining how the mushrooms are grown as well as given us information on growing the vegetables. During the bike ride, he took precautions to make sure everybody biked safely.

A Must to do in Siem Reap. Amazing Bike tour

Elena_C, Dec 2024
What a great Tour!. A Must to do in Siem Reap. Thanks Ron X the amazing Experience. I absolutely loved the mushroom farm, the local market and the rice wine stop with the tastings. The landscape was stunning!!! What a fantastic Tour. Highly recommended if you want a true and real experience of the cambodian countryside.

Great tour of the countryside

Lesley_B, Nov 2024
We thoroughly enjoyed our bike ride through the countryside. Our guide, Vandy, and his assistant (sorry, we can't remember his name but it was his first day) looked after us really well. We stopped at a vegetable farm, mushroom farm, sampled rice wine, went to a local market, a temple and a lotus farm. It was a really good way to see how the local farmers make their living. I had concerns about cycling given how busy it is everywhere but we were in the countryside in no time at all cycling along quiet tracks and roads most of the time.⁰

Fun bike tour with interesting stops

kzjyjp2f8h, Nov 2024
Despite initially having poor weather, it turned out to be a great day. The muddy conditions made the trails that much more interesting and our guide Roem did a great job answering questions and explaining the different aspects of local Khmer culture and business. The tour was paced well with different stops and breaks along the way. I enjoyed it!

Great way to see the real Cambodia

James_C, Oct 2024
A really interesting way to see the real Cambodia. The guide was informative and fun. Particular highlight was visiting a local market

Cycle countryside

Jackie_M, Oct 2024
Very enjoyable and easy cycle. The guides were very good and helpful. They had a lot of historical information and were able to answer any questions. We were picked up at the confirmed time and dropped back to the hotel.

Great trip with an amazing quide

Christian_T, Oct 2024
Great biking trip on the backroads of Siem Reap on excellent mountain bikes. Lots of interesting stops at small vegetable, mushroom, ricewine and lotus farms. Best feature of the trip was our outstanding guide, Voleak “handsome”. He made the experience exceptional.

Priceless experience in Siem Reap!

Ricky_B, Oct 2024
Riding thru the local villages and visiting the local market was the highlight for me !A nice experience was sampling local fruit while overlooking the landscape .

Peaceful Cambodian countryside.

Janine_M, Aug 2024
Vandy our guide took us on a tour of the Cambodian countryside. It was a wonderful morning. We enjoyed seeing many farms, markets, rice winery. The tour was laid back, flat roads, and full of great info. Highly recommend

Countryside Bike Ride

Connor_G, Jun 2024
This was a great tour of the Siem Reap countryside with several stops along the way. Bopha was an amazing guide and helped to explain how locals outside of the city live and conduct their daily lives. Highly recommend!

Great tour

Jesant_H, May 2024
Excellent experience on this tour biking through the countryside and experiencing different aspects of the Siem Reap countryside. Our guide Bopha was great in helping us navigate roads and paths. The rice whisky stopover and mushroom farm stopover in particular was great. Thank you Bopha.

The best guide in Siem Reap! A day of fun

Tessa_S, Apr 2024
Amazing guide Thanut took us through an extensive tour of the countryside ☺️ We learnt all about mushrooms, rice wine, lotus flowers, local markets and Buddhist/Hindu religion. Was a highlight of our trip so far and the guide was super friendly and knowledgeable.

A unique local experience

Ashrith_A, Dec 2023
A great experience and one of the most unique ways to explore the villages sound Siem Reap and have a peak into the local lives of the people in Cambodia away from all the hustle if the major tourist spots

Great way to explore Cambodia

Katharine_M, Dec 2023
We signed up for the bike tour to learn more about Cambodian culture and see the countryside. Our guide, Thanut, did a fantastic job of leading the group. He provided background for all the stops (Pagoda, rice wine distillery, mushroom farm, and lotus farm). The stop at the lotus farm was a highlight. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting l!

Expensive, but good overall

Zac_D, Nov 2023
Overall a good tour, but a bit pricey. Tinan was a good tour guide in my opinion. The bike given to me needed a service in my opinion - chain wasn't lubricated, and shocks were non-functional, among other little things. Having helmets included was a good thing. Tour was expensive for what we saw (countryside, farms, etc.) in my opinion, but it was still OK. At the end of the tour, the tour guide requested reviews from us to be made while at their office and was somewhat dissatisfied with me leaving without making a review (my phone could not connect to the internet, so I promised I would write one later). The tour guide then proceeded to message me on whatsapp the following day (with the intention of reminding me to submit a review) - Respectfully, I do not wish to be contacted post-tour. While I think we were all satisfied with the tour, the repeated requests to write an (implicitly positive) review something that I feel that casts doubt over the legitimacy of other reviews.

Would totally recommend!

Josephine_G, Mar 2023
What a great tour to the country side of Siem Reap! We really enjoyed the bike tour with all the exciting stops. Bikes where perfectly fine and our guide Mony (who spoke English perfectly!) had so many interesting stuff to tell.

Amazing

Amy_F, Jan 2023
This was an amazing trip, seeing the real beauty of Cambodia. Vandy took us through local farms and villages, and gave us the perfect amount of information. We would highly recommend this trip!

Amazing Cycle Ride including sight seeing

Jordan_S, Dec 2022
We had an amazing time on the cycle ride, it was a great balance of cycling and stopping to explore interesting features such as a local market, mushroom farm and lotus farm. I will definitely do this again when I return to Siem Reap, the guide spoke great English and was a great host.
