Our tour guide, Nancy, was absolutely wonderful! The experience was seamless from start to finish. We were picked up directly from our hotel by a driver and transported to our tour bus at City Hall. Despite the less-than-ideal weather and heavy rain throughout the day, we could not have been happier with the experience. Nancy was exceptionally organized, attentive to detail, and kept the tour running smoothly and on schedule. Her knowledge and informative commentary greatly enhanced the experience, and she was engaging and professional throughout the entire tour. We booked the private tour and were picked up on time at our hotel. Our guide, Tiger, drove us to the Peace Park where we joined one of the PLK tours to enter the DMZ. We had the opportunity for one on one questions about the history of Korea to the present day, including much detail about the Korean War. Tiger’s knowledge is very extensive and made the day very interesting and engaging. I would absolutely recommend PLK for the DMZ tour. Very well done!!

Wonderful Full Day to the DMZ, Third Tunnel and Observatory

Young was an excellent tour guide - very knowledgeable and flexible with what we wanted to do! We thoroughly enjoyed meeting with a woman who had defected from North Korea, particularly because I still have family living there. She was very open to answering our many questions. The DMZ tour was also very informative, though I found the ascent out of the 3rd tunnel pretty challenging, and I consider myself pretty fit! I am glad I had my Hoka shoes on! We opted not to see the suspension bridge but to visit another observatory with views into North Korea. Overall, a GREAT day! Young was an interesting, kind, super knowledgeable, and very flexible tour guide, and he made our day a very memorable one! We look forward to touring with Young again on our next visit to Seoul!
