Our family had an absolutely wonderful time on this whale‑watching cruise. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great experience. We were lucky enough to see whales up close, and a special highlight was how they captured some truly fantastic moments during the trip. The photos were available (for cost) to download afterward via a link, which made it easy to relive and share the experience with no pressure to need to capture that perfect wildlife shot. Will make your heart skip a beat in more ways than one

My family of 5 adults had a blast. Gorgeous ride through the hills above Florence. Stops to enjoy the scenery and to take pics. The Vespas are bigger than I expected at 125cc. You're driving on narrow, hilly roads as well as fairly busy intersections. Was more challenging than I expected. White knuckled it for most of the ride. Tour host Gabriel did good job of assessing people's skills and managing the ride. Lunch was simple and in a stunning setting.

I had an amazing experience, the 3 chefs were wonderful, kind and very knowledgeable! As part of the activity, we make 3 types of fresh pasta, and Gelato. Additionally, we get to know about the Italian cooking philosophy of adding ingredient quantity as much is neede and trusting your instincts. I would recommend this class to everyone who is planning to visit. Also, in my class I met a lovely family of Johanna and Steve and I want to wish them all well!

A great experience

Great experience! We got to see bottlenose dolphins and blue fin mother whales with their calves. We were really lucky to be able to see them up close. The check in process was easy and getting on the boat was pretty quick. There were plenty of seats and the boat could probably accommodate 100 guests. The crew was friendly and very knowledgeable. There were two naturalists from the Museum of Natural history that were sharing whale facts and what to look for before we got on the boat. Overall great experience.

The America Sailboat Whale-Watching Cruise

What a great experience all around!!! First of all, the cruise is on The America sailboat that is beautiful in itself. Secondly, Captain and the crew are so knowledgeable and made the cruise very informative. We did get to see multiple whale and baby whale sightings. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary (alcoholic are $5-7). Totally would recommend!

Fin-tastic!!

Absolutely incredible. The boat was super comfortable. The crew was kind and knowledgeable. And the experience was unforgettable. Saw two fin whales no more than 20 feet from our ship. It passed by such that we could see it from head to tail. Amazing. Mom and baby dolphins too! Fun for the whole family!

Booking through Viatour frustrating

Definitely do the Trolley tour. However, our experience booking through Viatour was less than ideal. We experienced confusion and frustration with receiving our tickets through the online/app, automated process. We eventually were able to retrieve our tickets, but not after some effort on our part. Having a live person to speak to would have been highly advantageous. For these reasons I would consider booking directly.

Everything you’ve heard and more!

The zoo absolutely lives up to expectations! It’s like an amusement park but with beautiful anima exhibits instead of thrill rides. So much to see! If you get tired walking I recommend doing half the zoo, then taking the bus tour around the zoo (totally free) and then hitting the rest. We loved it!
