We pick-up you from your hotel and drive to the beautiful mountain resort of Azuga, in the Carpathian Mountains. There an experienced instructor will guide you on how to handle the snowmobiles, and then we’ll embark on an exciting ride along a forest road, all the way to the top of the mountain. Please note that the cost of renting the snowmobiles is NOT included in the tour price. Renting one snowmobile cost 80€ (400 lei) for one hour. The snowmobile accommodat 1 or 2 persons. After our thrilling snowmobile adventure, we’ll enjoy lunch in Azuga, located near the ski slope. If you’re interested, you’ll have the chance to try out some winter sports or take the ski lift. You’ll have free time until 3 p.m. before we make our way back to Bucharest.

We will start with a short learning session, where you will be introduce into the basic skill of walking with snowshoes.Then the group will start the walk through the forest and over the mountain through deep snow and on some steep slopes. This will be a great walk to remember.

Snowmobile or ATV day trip experience in Romania . Being a private day tour, we will determine the departure time together, the pick-up and drop-off being at the location mentioned by you, hotel or apartment. The attractions of the day trip will be the panoramic tour at the Peles Palace the former summer residence of the Romanian royal family or optional at the Wednesday Series filming castle then we continue to the location of the snowmobile or the ATV ride in the dense forests covered with snow between 1 to 3 hours according to your wish and the cable car till the top of the mountains. During the ride, you will stop for a break to enjoy a hot drink and to take as many pictures as you want to remember this day. Since you have booked a private day tour from Bucharest, the program is flexible and we will adapt to your needs and requirements. The tour program and itinerary can be changed due to factors beyond our control as traffic jams, car accidents or bad weather conditions.

Learn or improve your skiing and snowboarding skills on the slopes of the Poiană Brașov ski resort with a licensed ski / snowboard instructor. Lessons are tailored to your level of experience, after which it’s possible to remain in the ski fields to continue practicing. Guides will provide required ski clothing and help with getting the right equipment based on your skill level and physical characteristics. This small-group tour of up to 6 people includes return transportation from Brașov.

After a two hour drive to Harghita county, meet your instructors and the dogs for our dog sledding tour. There will be a short briefing, during which you will learn the basics of driving a sled. Each person will be given a sled and 8-10 husky, depending on the weight. Afterwards, together with your musher, you will begin a 8-10 kilometers / 6 miles tour on the snow covered hills and meadows, reaching beautiful viewpoints with amazing scenery. During the activity, improve your mushing skills and learn how to control your own pack of dogs in the white wilderness of Harghita county. Feel the wind in your face and imagine how life was many years ago, when Nordic people used dogs for transportation.
