Would not trust Brasov Day Tours - Active Holidays.

It's hard to properly evaluate this experience when Brasov Day Tours - Active Holidays calls you 20 minutes after being at the designated pick-up time in the freezing cold and states "I'm sorry, I didn't see your reservation until just now." With that, the adventure was over before it started. The attitude of the representative was very dismissive and was immediately looking for confirmation of cancelation over trying to make the Huskey Sleigh Ride actually happen. They made it seem like they had no intention of honoring the tour from the beginning. Additionally, the tour company appeared to only contact me after I messaged Viator 3 times in 20 minutes. The tour company (after acknowledging to me they literally just viewed my reservation 2 minutes prior) attempted to blame me. I followed the instructions perfectly on the bar coded mobile ticket and was waiting at Brasov, 3, Piata Sfatului, Brasov at 10am. There was no mechanism for me to enter my hotel information for a pick-up, so in accordance with the ticket that gave a specific pick-up location and said the "End Point" was back at the meeting point, I did what any reasonable person would do and showed up at the pick-up point at the designated time. If the tour company disputes this, then they need to adjust their details. Based on this experience, I will never deal with Brasov Day Tours - Active Holidays again. Also, this is the second tour I've booked through Viator in 13 months where I was literally left without being picked up and having to cancel the experience. Yes, I have been refunded on both occasions, but I would have rather had the experience. Even more, I used a $31 Viator credit for this specific tour that has not been repopulated in my profile. Moving forward will hesitate to use Viator as my first choice for experiences as well.

Absolutely loved this experience - once in a lifetime opportunity to sleigh with the huskys in thr beautiful Romanina mountains. It was more than we coyld of hoped for. Wrap up WARM! Ski gloves and wollen socks a must. The digs were amazingly looked after and all the guides were lovely.
