We took this tour on Friday, March 13. Alex was our tour guide - from the beginning, he was very attentive to make sure we were all able to get the hang of the e-bikes. There were frequent stops, where he provided stories and information about what we were seeing. The tour included a stop at the Catacombs, where we seamlessly joined a scheduled English-speaking tour group. After the Catacombs stop, there was a lunch stop at an Italian country club - delicious! On our particular tour, it began raining quite heavily during the last hour. Alex was very professional about it all, and gave us options as to how to finish out the tour when it appeared that we would have to "ford" a deep section of water: go back and go a different way, or weather through it with wet shoes. We chose the latter, and despite the rain it was a very memorable and fun experience. Would highly recommend Roma StarBike!!

Phenomenal tour, our guide was exceptionally fluent and answered all our questions while providing excellent history of the forest and wildlife. We saw beautiful waterfalls and wild toucans which were breathtaking. The caves were very cool and the hike was a good level of difficulty (mild to moderate stairs/incline) but we had good breaks and it wasn’t too tiring. 10/10 great experience

The Roxy Dinner Show in Rio de Janeiro was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant, vibrant, and unmistakably Brazilian. The venue itself is beautifully designed, blending classic Rio glamour with modern production. The show was spectacular. The performers were incredibly talented—dancers, singers, and musicians delivering an energetic celebration of Brazilian culture. The choreography, costumes, lighting, and music were all world-class. You get to experience a journey through Brazil’s rhythms—from samba to bossa nova—presented with incredible passion and precision. The dinner was also excellent. The food was well prepared, flavorful, and nicely presented, with a great variety that pairs perfectly with the entertainment. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening. What really makes the experience special is the energy and authenticity of the performance. You can feel the pride in Brazilian culture, and the audience becomes part of the celebration. If you’re visiting Rio and want a memorable evening combining great food, music, dance, and culture, the Roxy Dinner Show is absolutely worth it. Our guide took us to a great pizza spot for lunch that we never would’ve found on our own. A tip for female travelers, make sure you have the support you need to ride over cobblestones!

Well worth it!

I read many reviews that said this was well worth it, and I couldn’t agree more. I spent over two hours exploring both beautiful stops. Had I not had the skip the line, I would’ve had an additional (at least) two hours of just waiting. There are signs that are marked priority/fast. Make sure you go through those marked areas and the staff will help move you through.

Excellent Tour. Gustav our guide was fantastic and kept everyone up to date with what was happening and stories along the way - actually you could just spend a whole day listening to him learning about Rio and the history! First stop was Christ the Redeemer, quick stop at Macarana Stadium, Cathedral, Escadaria Selaron. Stop for lunch buffet selection with good choices then on to Sugarloaf Mountain. Tour finished around 3.30 drop off back at hotels. 10/10 would recommend

Great way to see the main attractions in Rio

We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Gabrielle, was very informative, punctual and friendly. We saw all the points that were included in the package, including Christ the Redeemer, the Sugar Loaf Mountain and the old town. We started at 7:00 am, which safed us time by avoiding the city traffic and the lineups to the main attractions. We highly recommend Gabrielle and her driver Romerus who was also very helpful and attentive. His car was very clean and comfortable.

Took a helicopter ride with Helicopter Rio de Janeiro, and it was a great experience. The helicopter was clean, the pilot was professional, and the staff was friendly and courteous. Karine, one of the managers, was especially great—very helpful and welcoming. Flying up to Christ the Redeemer and along the coastline of Rio de Janeiro was unforgettable. Highly recommend if you’re in Rio.

Excellent day tour of Rio

Great day out. Stuck to schedule. Joao the guide was great. Really knew his stuff. Great mix of time with guide and time on our own. Would recommend the full tour and train for this tour. Joao knew a bad storm was coming (a severe weather alert was issued locally) and made sure we got down from Sugar Loaf mountain in plenty of time and back to our hotels safely.
