Be sure to skip breakfast before you start the tour… as you will not finish this tour hungry! There were so many amazing opportunities to taste authentic Mexican tacos and much, much more. This tour exceeded our expectations as well as did our tour guide, Joanna. Joanna was very knowledgeable about everything to do with Puerto Vallarta and balanced the tasting part of the tour with just enough history. Had a great time!!

This was a very fun adventure. Our guide Diego was great, very friendly and informative and made sure we were taken good care of the entire time. It was neat to see the town of Mismaloya and all the protected birds on Los Arcos. The water was warm which was nice and made it easy to get in and swim around. Due to algae conditions that day the ocean was a little murky so we did get to see different types of fish swimming right under us but perhaps not as many as we would have liked. My boyfriend had a little trouble with the snorkel mask so if you want you can always bring your own if you like which I did and had no issues. We got time after that snorkeling to relax and the beach and have some drinks which was really nice as well. Would definitely recommend this trip. It was really nice that it was a small group and not overcrowded too. We had a great time overall and would definitely recommend!

Incredible experience...

Incredible experience from start to finish. Our guide was not only super friendly and easygoing, but genuinely extremely knowledgeable you could definitely tell they really cared about the ocean and making sure everyone had a great time. Rating is based on the excursion itself, not the transpiration to/from. We loved riding ATVs through the hills and over the bridges. Jonny and Luis were amazing guides and kept us very safe. First off Dave who coordinated our reservation in Sayulita was awesome! Our son got sick the day we were supposed to take our tour, and Dave helped us reschedule to another day later in the trip. On the boat, Alex and his crew were incredible. Alex really helped us appreciate the importance of protecting the Islands. At the same time his whole crew took amazing care of us and the whole experience was amazing.

Honestly, this was such a lovely experience. It ended up just being me and my dad, which made it feel so much more special and peaceful. We got to enjoy everything privately without distractions. Dinner by the pool was the perfect ending, and the staff were all incredible. Definitely recommend doing this with friends, your partner, or family!

The show was fantastic. Highly recommend. I was really surprised and disappointed that we booked 7 tickets as a group and then when we showed up they were in two distant groups of 4 and 3. Fortunately the people at the event helped us- but it makes me question whether I would book through Viator ever again.

Amazing family beach excursion

Vegan families - this one is for you! We saw whales and dolphins on the boat… when we arrived at las caletas there were tacos with black beans and veggies. Tons of beach spots to chill on hammocks and nooks. For lunch a great salad with nuts and veggies, more refried black beans and chips. Lots of bars everywhere, I recommend the strawberry margarita, best I’ve had in Mexico. They don’t provide towels but you don’t really need one because there’s lots of seating available. Towel would just be a nice to have as a bonus. My only complaint is the photographer. We just liked 1 of the photos and wanted to just buy 1 digital photo that could be emailed to us. She refused and said we must buy the whole package or nothing… why not make some money instead of $0? That was a temporary bummer feeling, but the rest of the staff was great. Recommend just taking your own photos because they wouldn’t sell individual ones.
