Great for first timers! Our guide Daniel was informative, friendly, funny! Did an excellent job explaining and sharing information about Puerto Vallarta! They offer hotel pickup and our driver became ill but they sent us a new driver and included all information on who the driver was, license plate etc. The tequila distillery stop and animal sanctuary stop with lunch were perfect! Highly recommend this budget friendly tour!

It’s a perfect tour of walking and driving. The guide we had (Danny) was absolutely wonderful. We loved meeting the leather maker, tequila tasting, candy store, boardwalk walk etc. a lot to see.

This is a great excursion for first time travelers to the area. I would have rated it a 5 if we spent either less or more time on the malecon. There wasn’t enough time to shop independently but too much time wandering around with the group.

Most of the experience was extremely boring. What was the point to walk along the beach to show sand. Why point out every restaurant, a visit to a candy store? We are senior citizens, show us age related things.

In just a few hours, we aim to give travelers a meaningful “taste” of the city so they can later decide which places they would like to return to and explore in more depth.
One of the stops includes the High Waves Pier (Olas Altas), one of Puerto Vallarta’s most iconic landmarks, located on one of the city’s most visited beaches. This area is well known for its lively atmosphere and wide selection of beachfront restaurants with tables on the sand, making it a very desirable and memorable spot for many visitors.
Our visit to a traditional Mexican candy shop is also an intentional cultural experience. There, guests see a local family preparing handmade candy while learning about one of Mexico’s most recognized traditions worldwide. The aromas and flavors of Mexican candy are considered part of the country’s rich intangible cultural heritage and offer travelers the opportunity to discover unique tastes that are not commonly found elsewhere.

Tour was overall good. But we were expecting a water which we thought it was included in the tour. It so hot and they did not offer any water and we had to buy our own water during the tour. So if you're wanting to try this tour, you better bring your own water!! Don't believe them that the water was included

In addition, our tour includes refreshing drinks at two different stops during the itinerary, as well as a complimentary margarita.

This was an amazing tour that covered PVR standard areas but we also saw leather crafting, tequila making, opal jewelry, landmark arches, artisan sweet makers and had lunch at an animal rescue/zip line location. There is some walking involved in the tour. It was a fun and educational tour. Daniel knows Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas very well. The tequila factory was very fun and interesting. There was a lot of tasting going on. Our driver, Sergio, was excellent.

Great sampling of PV area! Guide was knowledgeable of area and shared it well in very good english.
If you are handicapped it may not be the tour for you. Danielle our guide was late to pick us up and didn’t communicate his location or ask ours. We tried to communicate but the app and info was inadequate. I didn’t have a phone number to call! Took a cab to PV at our own expense for 500 peso and finally after we had passed the Sheraton where we were finally called and told to meet and had to backtrack to. Overall the pickup at Vidanta was very poor!

Our tour guide Daniel was very sweet & informative. There were some great shops & cultural stops but we spent far too long at the jewelry shop & was a constant "sell" pressure - which was the same at the leather store. The tequila stop was excellent - Miguel was wonderful. The best thing about the trip was the people in our group - we became fast friends.

Pretty lengthy tour but you cover a lot of ground (walking and driving) Daniel (Tour Guide) was awesome! He had a group of Spanish/English passengers and he explained all info in both languages.

A lot of walking so where some comfortable shoes. Our guide, Daniel, was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were not able to walk the Malrcon boardwalk due to the high tides caused by Hurricane Priscilla. E prepared for the pushy jewelry sales people. It is as advertised. As the title says, it is a "promotional tour". The tour includes stops at vendors. That is why a tour of the entire PV area is so cheap. Those stops include "tours" and demonstrations. Moreover, the trip to the "tequila tasting" and lunch stop is worth the price.
The guide will be a friendly local who goes out of their way to make sure you are are enjoying the excursion in the air condoned van. Better yet, they pick you up where you are staying.
Highs recommend that you do this early on your trip.

Our guide Daniel was amazing. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Puerto Vallarta and is very personable. The tequila tasting was amazing and we were able to get a tour and tasting of the coffee house next the the tequila stop. You can shop in the market but there was not much time slotted.

Our city tour with Daniel in Puerto Vallarta was hands down AMAZING! He’s super fun, easygoing, and makes the whole experience a blast. We got to see the best parts of the city, sip some really good tequila (learned a few fun facts too), and the monkeys—oh my gosh—feeding them was such a cool, once-in-a-lifetime moment!
Daniel keeps the vibe light and exciting but still knows so much about the area. Honestly, it felt more like hanging out with a friend who’s showing you around than being on a tour. If you’re in Puerto Vallarta, don’t miss this—ask for Daniel!

Hubby and I really enjoyed this tour. It was very informative. Our tour guide, Daniel, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He took time to get to know something about each participant. He shared a lot about the Mexican culture and answered questions sincerely. Our tour went into the mountains also. It was beautiful. We had an excellent driver who you could tell was familiar with the road and its curves. He made us feel very safe. At each stop that we made, the shop owners and staff were very welcoming. There was no pressure to purchase from them. However, many of us did. (Smile). Lunch was available at a mountain restaurant. Can’t recall the name but the guacamole was delicious. Overall, we were able to see quite a bit of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. This was my 3rd time to PV and we went to places I wasn’t aware of. Learned a lot.
