Perfecto was our guide who did a great job keeping us informed of the history of Chichen Itza and Mayan culture, giving us our siesta time in the van and making the overall experience efficient. The restaurant we went to was Reataurante Tio Monolo which also had crafted souvenirs and where you can get your mayan astrology paper. We also took a stop in Valladolid where we pretty much ate all the dessert you can possibly enjoy. This tour is certainly worth the money!

Amazing experience that I’d highly recommended. Isla Contoy is the gem of the trip, truly a tropical paradise. We skipped snorkeling during to winds and currents, which we didn’t mind bc it gave us more time to spend exploring Isla Mujeras. Kudos to Fernando, Diego, and the whole crew for making it a very special and memorable trip.

Although a long day of approximately 16 hours, the experience and tour guide were well worth it! Comfortable bus with water, soft drinks and beer included at each stop. Knowledgeable tour guide Alejandro that took the time to give historical answers to all our questions. Tulum and Coba were Mayan ruins in two very different locations on windy coast and inner forest. The ability to walk up the steps of Coba was a-mazing! Local linch and Mayan blessing was a lovely addition for the day. The cenoté was very relaxing and refreshing in the beauty of being totally underground and only our tour at the location. The stop in Playa del Carmen was a bit too peopley for me but was a short stop and the sorbet was yummy. Highly recommend the tour and to bring supper snacks in your day bag.

The research paid off and this was by far the best price for the experience we received. Lots of things to see and do. It felt a bit rushed at each place. The buffet was all you can eat so long as you can eat your fill in about a 20 minute period…including standing in the line. It almost felt too much included in the trip. But our guide Lalo was fantastic and he gave us the history and background of the places we were visiting to help bring our experience into a better context. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip.

This was such an exciting trip! It was our first main tour of a few we did in our 9 day holiday at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico, and it certainly set the bar high. First we went out of a boat with our guides and a group of about 15 others to go snorkelling on the second biggest reef in the world! We were given a floatation jacket, snorkel and mask, and flippers, and then once out at sea (maybe a 10 minute boat ride) we jumped off the edge of the boat to explore the beautiful under sea world of the reef and some amazing sea creatures. We saw plenty of fish, a turtle, a few rays and even a barracuda! There was a fair bit of swimming required, although the guide who lead us did have a life ring on a rope, if needed. We swam for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and to be fair, I was exhausted by the end, being a confident but less than fit swimmer. We were never that far from the boat, but certainly quite a way out to sea, so no sloping off to the beach for a rest. Bear this in mind if you are not the most confident swimmer - let them know before the swimming begins! I have snorkelled before but not for a couple of decades. My wildlife loving partner had never snorkelled before and he absolutely loved this experience, as I had hoped he would! We then got back on the boat via a ladder and returned to the harbour at Puerto Morelos, just had time for a quick coffee and slice of cake to recharge my energy levels (these were included in the price), ready for our next adventure at Rio Secreto underground river and nature reserve. For me, this was the most exciting part of the day. We donned wet suits and hard hats with a head lamp on, and water shoes (take your own if you have them) and our wonderful guide, Diago, took us first to meet a shaman for a blessing for our journey, and then we went down into he cave complex amongst the most incredible stalactites and stalacmites, wading through the waters of the underground cave. If you have swum in a cenote, which we did in a subsequent trip, this is different as you have to walk in a line along the river, in and out of small lakes and streams and tunnels underground, lit only by head torches - it was incredibly atmospheric! Diago made it really fun and also paid attention to our safety, and we had 2 other guides with us - a photographer and a second guide to make sure we were all ok. There were some tight spaces to navigate, rocks to climb over, and lots of steps up and down under the water, which Diago lit with his torch under the water so it was easier to find my footing. He is clearly really passionate about caving, and his joy was infectious - rarely have I had so much fun, it was like being a child all over again! At one point we all turned our torches off and were in absolute pitch blackness for a few seconds - truly breathtaking! Honestly, if you want to have an adventure, give this trip a try, but be aware that you need to be relatively able bodied to really enjoy the underground river as once you're in, you need to keep going through the cave system with your group. That said it was enormous fun and I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank you Diago for making it such a special experience.

Pick up from our hotel was 5:45. Got back to our hotel around 7pm. We had an amazing time. The tour guides were so patient and fun and the photographer helped to capture the best shots. Content became available by the next day. Good trip. Good vibes. The cenote swim was my personal favourite the water was so refreshing and cool.

We had a great time on this trip. We appreciated the balance of time to explore Tulum yourself, and the time spent with guide for background and history. The trip was well organized and well run. It would have been nice to know about the lockers and changing facilities at the Cenote in advance of the trip, as well as the lunch option on site for purchase. We would likely not have gotten the plus package with the small, over-priced boxed sandwich had we known there would be a local cuisine option on site

Our guide, Rodolfa, was excellent—fluent in both Spanish and English, and made sure to translate everything seamlessly for the group. The team was very punctual. I initially expected the bus to make several stops, but they managed pickups very efficiently—mostly around Playa del Carmen—and even arranged separate vans for those coming from farther locations. Our driver (I forgot his name, unfortunately) also deserves a mention for his smooth and safe driving. One heads-up: I was low on cash and couldn’t tip them properly—definitely bring some extra cash because the guide and driver really earn it. There is an additional $40 per person fee for Chichén Itzá entry (about $8 more than the standard rate), but it’s well worth it since you skip the long lines and enter through the VIP section. Overall, it was a hassle-free and smooth tour. Personally, we would’ve loved a bit more time at the cenote and the colonial town, but that really depends on your own interests. Highly recommend this tour for a well-organized and enjoyable experience!
