Eleven kilometres of protected riverside path, almost entirely flat, running through the middle of Paris. On one side the water, on the other the Institut du Monde Arabe, Notre-Dame, the Louvre, the Musée d'Orsay, the Pont Neuf, the Eiffel Tower. This self-guided tour follows that path from one end to the other. You begin at the four glass towers of the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand, shaped like open books, and ride west. The Left Bank carries you past the floating Joséphine Baker swimming pool, the Jardin des Plantes and its second-oldest zoo in the world, the statue of Rimbaud, the bouquinistes and their four kilometres of green boxes, Notre-Dame, and the address every French crime novel knows, 36 Quai des Orfèvres. Then the Pont Neuf, the Louvre, the Assemblée Nationale, the Pont Alexandre III, the sewers, the Eiffel Tower, and finally the Île aux Cygnes, where the little sister of the Statue of Liberty looks west across the Atlantic. Perfect way to see Versailles

What a brilliant way to explore Versailles! On a perfect sunny day, Gigi regaled us with so many interesting stories about the court of Versailles while we rode along the shady paths of the grounds. Getting food from the local markets to start, we picnicked around the lake like royalty. We had the most amazing day, learning so much & seeing all the smaller palaces & Marie Antoinette’s village along the way. Gigi made the day so enjoyable & engaging for people like us who never normally go on organised tours. We ended up at the Palace at the perfect time to miss all the crowds with plenty of time to explore on our own before closing time. Thank you Gigi, this day was definitely a highlight of our trip to Paris!

Such a fun way to see Paris!

We had an amazing time with Josselin as our tour guide! The bike ride was a ton of fun and allowed us to see so much, including the incredible pedestrian graffiti tunnel that we would have otherwise never known existed. We also learned a lot at the various stops throughout the journey. The bike ride totaled about 9.5 miles over flat terrain, and maintained a comfortable pace. The boat ride was a fun and relaxing way to end the evening. We managed to depart and return during Eiffel Tower sparklings! So magical. Highly recommend!

A Great Way to Experience the Vast Acreage of Versaille!

It's a great way to see and feel the extent of the grounds around Versaille. It's a leisurely bike ride with only two moderate hills to climb. The lunch by the Grand Canal is a nice touch and there is plenty of history imparted throughout, topped off with an unguided visit to the palace, which is nothing short of awe-inspiring. It's a great day!

Better Way to see Paris.

Michael was a very good tour guide. We are so happy to see nook and crannies of Paris plus popular tourist spots on a bike. He was very accommodating and took time to explain in details when we had questions. Be sure to be in a decent shape if you are doing this tour as the uphill parts were not easy if you are out of shape.

Wonderful time biking through Paris

We wished we had done this tour first when we arrived to Paris! Clement took us to La Marais and St. Germaine with all of the vibrancy. He expertly negotiated all of the traffic areas, but kept us off of main roads. The bikes were really fun city bikes; no hills or hard areas to bike through. And every question we asked, he responded with so much information. Would definitely recommend

Great cycling tour

I went with my cousin and his fiancé. We 3 were the only ones signed up so it was essentially a private tour. Irving was our guide who was really personable, easygoing, and knowledgeable guy. He made our tour great despite having to change our route a bit due to diplomatic entourages with blockades. . A+ was for Irving,; it was a fun day. I highly recommend.

The highlight of our Paris trip!

This is a fantastic way to not only visit the Versailles Palace but to also experience the the town of Versailles! We shopped in the town market (fresh cheeses, meats, fruits, vegetables) and then picnicked on the banks of the palace canal!! It doesn’t get better than this!!

One of life's most special experiences

Ir is easy to book with very good on line communication. The bikes are very good and seem well maintained. Different bikes readily accommodating 5 ft ladies to 6 ft guy in our family. The bikes have both pedal and handle bar brake. I am mature woman unused to pedal braking but I readily mastered it. Just do it. It is the most amazing way to enjoy the highlights of Paris and get to know more of this beautiful city.

Roman was an excellent...

Roman was an excellent tour guide. He was knowledgeable and guided us well on the bikes. This experience is not for the faint of heart, however. Most of us Americans are not used to riding bikes in the middle of city traffic. Luckily Parisian drivers are looking out for bikers, but be prepared to be on the roads with cars. We really like this experience however, especially my teenage boys.

It is a quick paced bike ride so if you’re not up to keeping up it may not be for you. George, our tour guide was extremely patient with our group and very knowledgeable. He was able to gauge the level of history interest the group had and provided the right amount of insight. His English was very good with a slight accent enabling us to understand him very well.
