Sossusvlei Tours and Tickets

Booked this tour from Swakopmund as it was sold out from Windhoek. And that was such a good decision. I was put together with another lady for this 3D2N, but this worked very Well. There is so many highlights from this trip that it will be too Long of a review. But: - Red desert dunes of Namib desert - Walking up Dune 45 - Oryxes and other animals with the desert backdrop was incredible. -The Lodge, Moon Mountain Lodge, was just SO good with good wifi, shower, toilet, food and the staff was so friendly. One of the best things here is the view. Overlooking a large nature area with Wild animals walking about. This also made it possible to get the best sunsets in the area. And the most amazing surprise…. The stargazing with a new moon phase present. - Welwitschia plants, lichens etc. - Great vehicle and guide/driver for the bumpy gravelroads. We flew over it. Our guide was called Stephan. He still had the passion, and was doing what he could so we had an amazing experience. Had plenty of water, made ‘Nature calls’ breaks, stopped when we spotted animals or whatever we wanted to stop for with great energy. - Sossusvlei and Deadvlei in itself are worth the whole tour. I Can recommend to be at Deadvlei at noon when it is warmest, as everybody else went for lunch. I could go on. But all in all, this was definitely worth it. Can fully recommend.
