What are people saying about Mexico City

We flew in to CDMX and...
We flew in to CDMX and this was the first activity that we did upon arriving in the city. We had such a fun time, Natalya was an excellent tour guide. She was super open and welcoming and told us some fun history of the Luchadors and gave us a run down of what to expect and some fun chants to enhance our experience. We had excellent birria tacos and flautas with beer and mezcal beforehand and met some other lovely travelers in the same group. We would absolutely recommend this to anybody looking for a fun night!!

I wouldn't go with anyone else
Olin showed us around the city on a walking tour, every place we went was an exciting adventure. Starting with a lesson in Nahuatl, then a lesson in Cumbia, then two other places that will blow your mind Fluent in both Spanish and English, and knowledgable about Mexico city. We were able to enjoy some tequila and mescal, and at the same time create lasting memories. If you are looking for a great time and a unique experience, this is guide to go with.

A blast of entertainment!
Alejandro was a funny tour guide who got us hyped up for the Lucha Libre! He taught us the best cheers and the atmosphere of the arena! I had no idea it was a form of therapy to the common folk, which I think is more fun and cheaper. The match itself was so much like WWE, and it was so fun to see the locals and wrestlers get in on the action.
My advice for the tour is: DO NOT bring food or drinks, the staff will make you throw it out, even with empty bottles prior to entering the arena.

Seriously, if you are...
Seriously, if you are going to do one thing in Mexico City, make it this Lucha Libre experience and make sure you get Arturo as your guide. The man knows everything about Lucha Libre. The history, the fighters, the traditions, the culture. He shared it all in a way that was genuinely fun and easy to follow, and our whole group was totally hooked from start to finish.
The mezcal tasting was such a great touch. Arturo and the team took us through each one and explained where it came from, how it was made, and what to look for in the flavor. It felt like learning from someone who truly loves what he does, not just running through a script.
Our kids had an absolute blast. Arturo was so warm and patient with them and made sure they were part of the whole experience. Watching their faces light up in that arena was one of those moments you just do not forget.
If you are on the fence, just book it. We could not recommend Arturo and this tour more highly 🎉

This was my favorite tour of
Our trip! We met at the wrestling school and met El Picote a Mexican wrestler that attends the school. Mezcal tasting & local tacos were delicious!! We had a great time at the show and our tour guide stayed with us to explain more wrestling information. I wore my mask most of the time and had a great experience!

Amazing archaeological tour!
Alphonso was such an incredible tour guide! We lucked out and got a private tour with him, and his archaeological and historical knowledge was astounding. We had a great time learning about the history of Mexico with him, discussing art and pottery, and our shared love of coffee! He went above and beyond and gave us a 3.5 hour tour, because he kept remembering important objects he wanted to share with us. We would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone! It gave especially important context to the museum that you just wouldn't get without a guide.

Amazing Private Tour of Mexico City!
Arturo was so kind and knowledgeable about everything in Mexico City. From art to architecture to true stories about famous people and the Virgin of Guadalupe. It was such an amazing private tour! Our guide spoke fluent English and Spanish. Effortless pick-up at our hotel too (which was prearranged because it wasn’t on the drop-down list of options). Then he dropped us at the Frida Kahlo museum per our request. It was a perfect day!

Fun show, hard to find guide
The show and crowd are fun. My kids loved it. It is helpful to book through viator because it is overwhelming and crowded at the show. Tour is not through Viator so look at your emails to find the tour name. Tour guides should have a sign but they don't. You have to ask around.
