Unique experience with history and local culture
Fantastic tour with Daniel. One of the highlights of our trip to Medellin. Learned so much about the history of Colombia and Comuna 13. Be prepared for a good amount of walking, including at least one steep hill. The cable car ride and trip to the fruit market were added bonus. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Medellin!

Edison brought our tour to life!
You cannot appreciate Medellin if you don’t go downtown or to Comuna 13. Edison was hands down one of the best tour guides we had all week. Down to earth, spoke English, and was so knowledgeable about any questions we asked. I cannot recommend him enough. Wear comfy shoes because you will WALK! But it was well worth it.

100% Recommend
We absolutely adored this tour. My partner and I are pretty knowledgeable about coffee and I have been on multiple coffee tours; but we both learned something and appreciated the expertise. Coffee was phenomenal, lunch was delicious, and the family was so welcoming.

Yuly was an amazing tour...
Yuly was an amazing tour guide! She knew so much about the history and our main goal was to learn about the history that created such a vibrant culture! She made recommended stops for cultural snacks and for us to purchase goodies or watch the amazing street performers. She also is an INCREDIBLE driver and we felt 100% safe the entire time.

Insightful 4 hours in Medellin
A balanced insight into the life and death of Pablo Escobar and the impact he had at the time. This tour does not glorify the cocaine empire but sheds light on the devastation it causes. A real educational eye opener. The museum at the end of the tour was interesting too. I'd recommend the tour plus museum to gain a better understanding of the prolific drug lord. My guides Juan and Ana were very passionate about this complex topic.

Amazing experience
booked a private full-day tour and it turned out to be such a special, personal experience. My guide picked me up right from my hotel in the morning and dropped me off there at the end of the day, which made everything feel effortless and comfortable from start to finish.
We went hiking, visited a stunning waterfall where I could swim, tried some local food, and experienced an incredible zipline, including relaxing in a hammock suspended high above the scenery. It all felt so unique and thoughtfully planned.
The entire day flowed perfectly. The car was very comfortable, the driving was smooth, and I always felt safe. My guide was genuinely kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable, not just sharing information, but really making sure I was enjoying every moment.
It didn’t feel like a typical tour at all, it felt like a truly personal experience. I left with amazing memories and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something meaningful and unforgettable.

Besr Part Of My Trip!!
It was great! Hands down the best ATV experience I've had and I have done it alot! The transport collected me from my airbnb exactly on time, it takes an hour to get there which went by pretty fast. Faber really was the best guide, instructions were clear and the overall group had beginners who followed along easily. We stopped and had Empanadas for breakfast too and a Colombian drink. The terrain is the best, gorgeous views along the countryside as well. They stopped at numerous spots so we could get all the pics and vids we wanted. Lunch was fantastic as well, that coconut rice alone was a 10/10. Everyone is so friendly too, as a solo traveler I was instantly as ease. Will 100% be bringing my friends when I return!!! You won't regret it!

Park and Park and then some - amazing scenery
This was a very scenic and beautiful tour. Andres first picked us up from our AirBNB and then took us to the botanical gardens in Medellin. We enjoyed the biodiversity there and the peaceful atmosphere. The rubber tree and the turtle lake was really enjoyed by my 4 yearold neice.
After we took the cablecar to Arvi park which provided some excitement as well. Amazing to see Medellin from high up, a really beautiful city. The park was at almost 2500 meter above sea level, so it was cool. We started with a lunch of local paisa cuisine and set off through the woods. The vegetation at this altitude was really different than the botanical garden. Here we saw pine, moss, and a large bird of unknown variety. Maybe owl, but that would be strange in day time. We found a tranquil place next to a system of waterfalls to relax. My neice played in the wood playhouse.
Thanks to the flexibility of Andres, we also went to see the local silletas maker and his flower garden. Unfortunately, we were too early in the year but still an interesting experience.
Andres, if you read this. THANK YOU. It was a long day, we very much appreciate you giving us memories to last a life time.

Joshua was a FANTASTIC guide!
I booked this tour with my partner and we could not have had a better experience.
Our tour guide was Joshua and he was a 12/10 tour guide. He picked us up right at the hostel we were staying at - he was informative, professional and very easy-going. He was great with letting us go at our own pace and we spent much of our tour time exploring the “Comuna 13” and the Downtown area. We never made it to the cable cars which was our own decision because we wanted to spend more time at the first two destinations and Joshua was very accommodating.
“Comuna 13” was a bustling favela type neighborhood that had plenty of cool things to check out: Bars/Restaurants, Street Food, Street Graffiti, Soccer Field and Joshua gave some insight to the history of the neighborhood as it was “the most dangerous” neighborhood back in the ‘80’s.
From there we went to the downtown area where we walked around and Joshua explained some of the more prominent buildings in the downtown area and we did some shopping with the local vendors. He also took us to the “Nacional Palacio” which was their version of a mall but it was a beautiful building with an art museum on the rooftop floor which i would highly recommend checking out. Joshua was also EXTREMELY helpful with helping us haggle on prices in the downtown area as me and my partner were not the best at speaking Spanish.
All in all - we had a great time and cannot thank Joshua enough for a great day exploring the city of Medellín!

A nice way to get to know more of Medellin.
Mateo was our friendly and courteous driver who came to pick us up at our hotel right on time. He was very knowledgeable about the different places he took us, in a very nice and comfortable car. He also took tons of pictures in a creative way. I surely would recommend this tour to anyone that wants to know Medellin in a pleasant way.

Perfect tour!
Perfect tour!
A comfortable, air-conditioned car picked us up right from the hotel and brought us back afterward. Our guide Julio was incredibly friendly and shared lots of interesting information throughout the trip.
I highly recommend this tour — I really loved it! I actually booked two tours with Tourguides Medellín, and I enjoyed both of them very much!
