What are people saying about Marseille

We were traveling on a Mediterranean cruise and decided to try an e-bike tour in Marseille. We first tried with the cruise line excursion but it was full, fortunately. We went with Fada Bike rentals instead and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the simple pickup at the cruise port to the amazing bike shop, you could tell the experience was authentic. Starting out we were able to meet the owner, his wife and their dog Aster who were immediately kind and helped to make us feel comfortable. Our guide, Hank, was impressive on his historical knowledge of the town and how Marseille became what it is today. He was kind to our teenage kids in tow and help lead them through the busy streets. Would definitely recommend this company to other travelers.

Great day
We had so much fun on oure-bike tour. It was great to see both the city and the national park. An unexpected highlight of my particular tour date was stopping at a local bakery for lunch (you buy your own food). I will be dreaming about that bakery for a while. I was only in town for own day because I was on a cruise ship, but I would definitely still pick that outting for my day in Marseille if given the option again.

Sarit was amazing showing us Marseille
We had an amazing experience in Marseille thanks to Sarit! From the very beginning, she was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. She made the city come alive with her stories, insights, and passion for Marseille. Sarit went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and truly enjoyed every moment. She tailored the experience beautifully and shared special spots and local details we would have never discovered on our own. If you’re visiting Marseille, I highly recommend Sarit, she will make your trip unforgettable!

Don’t skip this one!
This was such an amazing experience! All due to our tour guide Laura. She was so very informative friendly and knowledgeable about the culinary world of Marseille. We started with Camembert and speck. A delicious glass of rose was the perfect accompaniment. The next stop brought us to an outdoor cafe where we had aioli, bread and panise (chickpea fritters). They were absolutely delicious. The third stop we got the plat du jour which was called Boquette de Veal- it’s a stew with potatoes and carrots. The restaurant was gorgeous. 4th stop was a confectionery store and the last stop was a pastry shop where I had the best baklava ever! It’s definitely a must do if you spend time in Marseille.
