What are people saying about Marseille

If You Visit Provence, Ask for Marco!
We had an absolutely spectacular day with Marco, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he is passionate about what he does and genuinely wants his guests to have the very best experience. His knowledge of the region is exceptional. Every destination came to life through his fascinating stories, local insights and historical background. We visited Aix-en-Provence, the beautiful coastal town of Cassis, Notre-Dame de la Garde in Marseille, and Le Panier, each made even more memorable thanks to Marco's commentary and recommendations. What truly set Marco apart was his attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond. He gave us ample time to explore each destination at our own pace, never making us feel rushed. He also suggested taking the boat cruise in Cassis to see the magnificent Calanques, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our day. Marco is professional, friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. If you are looking for a guide who will make your visit informative, relaxed and unforgettable, look no further. Thank you, Marco, for creating memories that we will treasure for years to come.

Well informed guide. Only...
Well informed guide. Only 2 hrs which was perfect for us. Hit some of the high notes of Marseilles’ history and then she offered recommendations for more if we chose. What was most helpful was her flexibility. We got caught in a rain storm (with hail) and she stayed calm and adjusted when we needed to shelter.

Hike to French beauty
An absolute spectacular excursion but be prepared for a moderate to challenging hike. If you’re willing to make the trek, it’s worth the effort. Very happy with this excursion. The guides were amazing, made the effort to speak English and very informative. They made the day. Thank you Adrien and Alex.

E-Bike Tour
We had an amazing day going through Marseille on E-Bikes!! My husband is turning 66 and I’m 64. We found it a bit challenging, but we did it! I’m so glad we did! We saw much of the city and got some exercise! Our excursion was a for hour half-day tour in the AM, and I think that is best.

Sitting between Provence and the French Riviera with regional natural parks and UNESCO World Heritage Sites right on its doorstep, Marseille provides day-trippers with plenty of options. Quintessential day trips from Marseille include the picturesque villages and rolling vineyards of Provence—take a summer tour to see the ubiquitous lavender fields in bloom—and the glamorous beach towns of the French Riviera and Monaco. Nature lovers can also hike, kayak, or bike around Calanques National Park, while history buffs can marvel over medieval Avignon and Roman Arles, and wine lovers can sip award-winning red wines in Chateauneuf-du-Pape.
