What are people saying about Marseille

We were traveling on a...
We were traveling on a Mediterranean cruise and decided to try an e-bike tour in Marseille. We first tried with the cruise line excursion but it was full, fortunately. We went with Fada Bike rentals instead and couldn’t have been more impressed. From the simple pickup at the cruise port to the amazing bike shop, you could tell the experience was authentic. Starting out we were able to meet the owner, his wife and their dog Aster who were immediately kind and helped to make us feel comfortable. Our guide, Hank, was impressive on his historical knowledge of the town and how Marseille became what it is today. He was kind to our teenage kids in tow and help lead them through the busy streets. Would definitely recommend this company to other travelers.

Great day
We had so much fun on oure-bike tour. It was great to see both the city and the national park. An unexpected highlight of my particular tour date was stopping at a local bakery for lunch (you buy your own food). I will be dreaming about that bakery for a while. I was only in town for own day because I was on a cruise ship, but I would definitely still pick that outting for my day in Marseille if given the option again.

Sarit was amazing showing us Marseille
We had an amazing experience in Marseille thanks to Sarit! From the very beginning, she was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. She made the city come alive with her stories, insights, and passion for Marseille.
Sarit went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and truly enjoyed every moment. She tailored the experience beautifully and shared special spots and local details we would have never discovered on our own.
If you’re visiting Marseille, I highly recommend Sarit, she will make your trip unforgettable!

Don’t skip this one!
This was such an amazing experience! All due to our tour guide Laura. She was so very informative friendly and knowledgeable about the culinary world of Marseille.
We started with Camembert and speck. A delicious glass of rose was the perfect accompaniment. The next stop brought us to an outdoor cafe where we had aioli, bread and panise (chickpea fritters). They were absolutely delicious.
The third stop we got the plat du jour which was called Boquette de Veal- it’s a stew with potatoes and carrots. The restaurant was gorgeous. 4th stop was a confectionery store and the last stop was a pastry shop where I had the best baklava ever! It’s definitely a must do if you spend time in Marseille.

Frada Bike Tour
Jordan was our tour guide and he did an excellent job! He was very knowledgeable with the history of Marseille. As a person who doesn’t exercise, hesitated on going, I actually enjoyed the 3hr bike ride. The rest of our crew were very nice and glad we met them. It’s definitely a thing to do so you can go back and decide on what other things you would like to focus on seeing and doing during the remaining of your stay.

In-Depth Delightful Tour
Pepe had our attention upon first meeting at the cruise port in Marseille and he kept it enthusiastically throughout the day as he whisked us around Marseille and the entrance of Provence’s stunning jewel Aix-en-Provence. For the history buff there was plenty to captivate and for those who preferred to take in the sights…they certainly didn’t disappoint. This tour was amazing from start to finish. Highly recommend Pepe’s attention to detail!!

E-bikes, don't be afraid to try something new
We had a great day touring some of the city, but mostly the national park via e-bikes. Martin was patient with us as had never ridden them before and we caught on quickly. We appreciated the thirty minute break to take a refreshing dip in the Mediterranean. Not only did we see some beautiful sites, but learned something new!

Lavender views
Our guide knew many fields to choose from with interesting views. He was very knowledgable about many aspects of the lavender as well. Such a beautiful trip! I would remind those with bee allergies that the fields are always buzzing, they are friendly and keep to themselves though.

Wonderful trip
The driver/guide Thomas is very nice and with punctuality. He gave us a brief on each visiting point. He also made good recommendations on where to dine, where to have good refreshments and where to shop. Thomas always told us to be relaxed, without urging us or exerting time constraints. Cassis is so beautiful with many aquatic activities.
My family enjoyed the trip very much, with great appreciation to Thomas. Highly recommend this trip to small group of friends or family.

Spectacular views of...
Spectacular views of Marseilles and Cassis, in a more personal atmosphere compared to the larger shore excursions. Pepe, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend for anyone stopping here and wanting a thorough and breathtaking tour of the area.

Long but fun day in Provence
This was a great tour.. Our guide Marian was excellent. Very knowledgeable and fun. We saw a lot during the day. Would have liked longer time in Le Baux de Provence- so much to see there. The van was new, clean and a very small group (6 people) which made the day enjoyable.
