Fabulous food & wine tour!!

Our tour guide Jean was amazing! He was completely knowledgeable about the essence and history of Versailles. He had previously arranged several shops & cafes for our arrival. Included: Wine & cheese pairing with a red and white wine with many different cheeses. The Chardonnay was the best I’ve ever tasted. Tapas restaurant where we sampled many different small plates. Mediterranean restaurant where we chose the from a menu. Sampled a traditional licorice flavored local drink called “Pastis” Homemade Ice Cream shop The walking tour was incredible. Very enjoyable authentic experience. The only negative thing was that the address given was ambiguous and difficult to locate.

A Marseille Must Do!

We highly recommend this tour! It was such an enjoyable afternoon, strolling through the streets of Marseille sampling local food and drink at spots that we would never have likely found on our own. Our guide John was simply outstanding! His knowledge of Marseille was nothing short of amazing and his passion for his city was obvious. Wonderful tour

We really enjoyed our tour with Gilles. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I have seen negative reviews that said he was on his phone too much but I felt that his time on his phone was more about making sure we never felt like we were on his schedule. He had a tour in mind for us but also never wanted us to feel rushed or pressured. He wanted us to spent as much or as little time wandering as we wanted. He was always present both physically and mentally if we wanted to talk or learn about something but it never felt like he was hovering. He was very knowledgeable and shared lots of great information with us, as we are very interested in history. He really made sure we saw wha we wanted and he even ended up spending extra time touring with us. My older and less mobile parents were with us too and he was always very patient making arrangements so that they could do things at their pace while the rest of us did things faster. Over all, a wonderful tour

Great day

We had so much fun on oure-bike tour. It was great to see both the city and the national park. An unexpected highlight of my particular tour date was stopping at a local bakery for lunch (you buy your own food). I will be dreaming about that bakery for a while. I was only in town for own day because I was on a cruise ship, but I would definitely still pick that outting for my day in Marseille if given the option again.

My husband and I took this tour with Severine. There were no other people on our tour, so it turned into a private tour. It was one of our favorite tours we have ever taken. We saw the city while gaining knowledge of the culture, people, and history. The pace was perfect. We sampled so many different types of food and drinks. She was able to modify to meet our desires. The people in the establishments knew Severine, so it was very nice to see the relationships which had been established. For people who our on a cruise ship like we were - it was easy to grab a taxi at the pier and Severine helped us get the taxi at the end. They took us directly to the ship. The total cost of the taxis was $50 Euros. I highly recommend you take this tour.

Tasting the best wine Marseille has to offer

Jean Gabriel was an AWESOME guide. Pickup at the meeting point was very easy to identify and seamless. The ride was in a very spacious and comfortable van, in which Jean Gabriel talked to us about the region and about wine itself. Our favorite part was that he has a more personal connection with many of the vintners, so he makes sure to only have the ones on the tour that will provide a more personalized experience and more reasonably priced wines should you want to purchase some to take/ship home. We would absolutely recommend this excursion to everyone, and thank you again to the wonderful Jean Gabriel for making everything amazing!

Our guide Eric was extremely knowledgeable about wine and was amazing to talk to. Would recommend opting to do a casual lunch in Aix so you can explore the town a little during your free time!

Highly recommend!

I absolutely recommend this tour! The E-bikes were fun and really helped with hills. The Calanques were closed due to fires, so the tour was adapted so we could ride safely and still see some spectacular sights. I don’t feel like we “missed out” on anything since the adapted tour was wonderful. Highly recommend if you are in Marseille!

From start to finish, the experience was flawless, informative, and unforgettable. Laurent is not only deeply knowledgeable about the region and its wines, but he also has a real gift for storytelling. He made the complex world of Rhône varietals, terroir, and winemaking history accessible and engaging without ever feeling overwhelming. We left each stop feeling like we had genuinely learned something, not just sipped and moved on. The selection of wineries was top-notch—beautiful, welcoming, and diverse in style. We had the chance to taste both big names and smaller producers, which gave us a well-rounded perspective on the appellation.
