It is a real 6 hours jungle trek, a wonderful experience. It's like being in a David Attenburough film. Funny lemurs and chameleons, exotic plants, like Jackfruit, cocoa, lychee, pepper and coffee bushes, vanilla and a lot more. After reaching the island peak, in the second half of the trek we meet more and more lemurs, who are very friendly in winter, even jumping on us gently and accepting bananas from our hands, to eat sitting on our shoulders or heads. You can also take a short excursion around the island. Later, a traditional Malagasy lunch in the fishing village, then heading back to Nosy Be. This trip is the only way for visitors arriving by cruise ship to get to the island of Iranja and admire this stunning part of the world.
