It is a real 6 hours jungle trek, a wonderful experience. It's like being in a David Attenburough film. After reaching the island peak, in the second half of the trek we meet more and more lemurs, who are very friendly in winter, even jumping on us gently and accepting bananas from our hands, to eat sitting on our shoulders or heads. When we arrive at the amazingly beautiful, snow-white sandy island of Nosy Iranja we will camp in the native village and then you have a variety of options. Sunbathe on the almost 2 kilometres of fabulous sandbar, snorkel and swim with turtles. If you feel like it, we can take you to the top of the island to see the lighthouse with a fabulous view of the 2 islands of Iranja and the Indian Ocean. You can also take a short excursion around the island. Later, a traditional Malagasy lunch in the fishing village, then heading back to Nosy Be. This trip is the only way for visitors arriving by cruise ship to get to the island of Iranja and admire this stunning part of the world. No matter what time you get off the boat and what time you have to return. We will be waiting for you directly at the port with our own motorboat and we will take head immediately to Iranya. All other excursions to Nosy Iranja are leave early in the morning and not from the port.
