We were picked up from the Cruise Port, 40 minute drive to a boat that took us out to a stretch of water where we snorkelled and saw many fish and giant turtles, fabulous. We were the given a tour of the guides village, where the locals were selling their goods. An overall experience not to be missed!

Our guid was very good and knew where to find the turtles. If you want to swim with big turtles this is the place.

Snorkeling with Giant Sea Turtles

Enjoyed our trip to swim with the Sea Turtles. Our guide Jake was knowledgeable about the island, helped us spot turtles and was there to pick us up at the port. Note that the description of the excursion talks about visiting Sakatia island and seeing Lemurs, but the trip was only to snorkel with the turtles. It was an hour drive and a 20 minute boat ride each way to snorkel, so keep that in mind if you’re only doing a 1/2 day excursion from the cruise port.
