Wonderful Beaujolais Tour with Great Guides and Stunning Scenery
Had a great time on the Beaujolais wine tour. The guides were excellent—very knowledgeable about the region, the history, and wine growing from many perspectives. The towns and landscapes were beautiful, even on a light drizzly day, which added to the charm. One tip: allow extra time getting to the departure point, as the area is very touristy and traffic can slow things down. The drivers leave promptly, so don’t cut it close.

Really great food tour!
Elizabetta is a great guide, and I highly recommend this tour! The walk through the particular area where the restaurants are has such a cool vibe. We learned about the history and culture of the area. We got to meet some of the shop owners, who were so welcoming. I felt like we were getting a real local’s welcoming! It was fun, and the food was great. Elizabetta did a great job giving us background.

Food, culture, and history…the perfect Old Lyon tour.
This was an excellent tour. Our guide, Maude, was very knowledgeable and interesting. She has an obvious passion for Lyon and its culinary importance. She is well versed on the history of the region which made it seem like more than just a food centered tour.
She explained to us the historical and geographical importance of the city between stops, introducing us to traboules and how they came to be and shape Lyon.

Syb is a brilliant storyteller, historian and really funny, one of our best days in Lyon .
Sybille was absolutely fabulous. We were a group of seven and she took the time to show us restaurants and shops that were off the beaten path. She introduced us to the owners and they too were so friendly and shared all the stories about their shops or restaurants. She is a great storyteller and historian, she shared them in an away that kept you engaged and smiling and laughing. I would highly recommend Syb. The best 3.5 hours of our day. Thanks for the memories Syb from your star student David

Lovely food tour in Vieux Lyon & Presqu’Ile with Carine
Carine was our tour guide and was a very welcoming, interesting and interested as well as enthusiastic guide which made it a most enjoyable experience. We visited a number of venues including a Bouchon, my favourites were the sweet shop and charcuterie/cheese/Praline Sirup of Lyon shop belonging to Frederick because both places had very passionate people who gave us background history of their products

Excellent tour and guide
Paul was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw many sites that one would never know about or fully understand. He was very pleasant and helpful. At the end of our time, he even gave us a list of suggested restaurants. One suggestion is to go up the basilica on the funicular before the tour starts. Give yourself at least 1.5 to 2 hours to see this beautiful area. Then, come down and start the tour with Paul. We did this and it worked out perfectly.

Excellent Value
This tour is definitely worth the money! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the culture and history of Lyon. All of the stops were incredibly informative and interactive. I loved everything from the cheese and chocolates to the silk: the wine was also delicious as was the samples of traditional lyonnaise cuisine.

My husband and I spent a...
My husband and I spent a wonderful 4 hours exploring Lyon with Olga, and she truly went above and beyond. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s rich history and quirky fun facts, but she was also so patient and polite with all our questions.
What really blew us away was her care for our experience outside the tour. She recommended a fantastic local Lyonnaise restaurant, called to make a reservation for us mid-tour, and even walked us inside to translate the French menu into English! Olga is fun, professional, and deeply caring. If you’re in Lyon, do yourself a favor and book with her.

Quality and Intimate
We have Madeline (I’m horrible with names) and she was 10/10. Knowledgeable, funny and was able to answer every question.
90% of the tasting is the instructor with the last 10% being the people who are also in the class and maybe we lucked out but it was a great time, full of laughs and was worth it.
Food was phenomenal, great snacks and the wine was delicious. Not snobby at all and lots of learning about French wines.
Would recommend to anyone who has the time!

A fantastic and engaging wine tour!
We had the most fantastic afternoon on the wine tour with François. We visited two vineyards and the hospitality from the winemakers was excellent. François was so knowledgable and engaging. We came away knowing so much about the Beaujolais and got to taste plenty of fantastic wine!!! A fabulous day and we would definitely do another when we are in the area again. Thank you François!

Paul is fantastic!
Paul was an incredible guide — friendly, informative, and full of fascinating insights about Lyon’s history and culture. He made the city come alive with his storytelling and genuine enthusiasm. On top of that, he shared fantastic local food recommendations in the best neighborhood, which gave us the perfect plan for where to eat afterward. Everything he suggested was absolutely delicious! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Paul to anyone visiting Lyon!

Delightful guide (her name was Shrine, pronounced Shereen.)
I always like to get oriented in a new city with a guided tour. E-bikes obviously give you a wider range and this was a great choice for starting our visit to Lyon. There are two and four hour options. If you do the two you cut off the snack stop and the climb to the Notre Dame Basilica. I am glad we did the four hours but know that most of the real value is in the first two hours.
The food tasting is only on the four hours and it is not a food tour: just a stop for sausages, pickles, bread and a drink. For some reason we thought this was also a food tour so we had cancelled our dinner reservation. Our bad!
