Start your horseback-riding trip at Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park in Luquillo. After an introduction and safety briefing, be matched to a horse that's best for your skill level and trot off for a ride through the Puerto Rican countryside. A guide is ready to help less-experienced riders.

The 2.5 hour ride was amazing! Our guides were Angel and Geo and they were so fun to ride with! The scenery is so beautiful and the beach ride and restaurant made it even better! This horseback riding experience was absolutely incredible! Riding through the Carabalí rainforest felt peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views all around. The transition from the trails to the beach was breathtaking being able to ride along the shoreline with the ocean right beside us was a moment I’ll never forget. The guides were amazing very patient, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable regardless of experience level. The horses were well-trained and easy to ride. If you’re looking for a unique and memorable adventure, this is a must-do! Highly recommend!

This was such a great experience and our guides were lovely. You can tell the park cares about the horses and looks after them properly. The scenery on the ride was so stunning and we got to stop at a cafe on the beach for drinks and food. 10/10 would recommend!

This was seriously one of the most fun things I’ve ever done while traveling. The horses were so well maintained and happy, the guides were beyond friendly and helpful, and the trail / beach were gorgeous. I had never ridden a horse before in my life and I felt so comfortable.

Very well run guided horse ride. The horses were chill and the trails interesting but not difficult. Our guide managed everyone well and provided interesting information about where we were riding. Since the horses are all on the smaller side (Paso Fino hybrids) they are strict about the weight limit and weigh everyone at the start of the ride.

Be mindful of the fact that you should wear closed shoes and pay attention to the guides(who are the best). The guides were courteous and friendly and took the time to explain everything. This is a “must do” activity if you’re in the area.

Incredible experience! The tour guides we great. They took pictures for us of our adventures and took us through beautiful trails that ended at the ocean. Gorgeous!! At the end of the trail, at the beach there was a small restaurant and bar were you can get drinks, juices and food that was delicious and reasonably priced. Carabalí has so much to do!! We loved it!

Angel and Eric were our guides and very knowledgeable and helpful. I was very nervous since it was my first time. It can be physically challenging for a beginner so keep in mind it is a 2.5-3 hour experience.
That being said, it was an unforgettable experience and worth every penny. It’s a must do in PR. Stopping at the beach and for a drink was a special touch.

It was wonderful! The guides were informative, entertaining, helpful, and great at taking photos. Once you get to the beach, you break for a half hour to have lunch and a drink. The prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. If you're around Luqillo, this is definitely a recommended experience. My horse Turbito was placid and a great ride.

I did the rainforest-to-beach horseback riding tour with my 13-year-old daughter, and it was an unforgettable experience for both of us. From start to finish, everything was beautiful, relaxing, and so well organized.
Our tour guides, Angel and Alex, were absolutely awesome—knowledgeable, funny, and incredibly attentive. Any question we had, they were happy to answer, and they went above and beyond by taking pictures and videos for us on our own cell phones, which meant so much to us.
The ride itself was stunning and peaceful, and the horses were clearly well trained and well cared for, which made me feel very comfortable riding alongside my daughter. The beach bar stop was super cute and the perfect place to relax for a bit. We shared a virgin piña colada and ordered the beef and plantain empanadas, which were delicious. My daughter even had the chance to swim in the ocean, which made the experience extra special for her.
The ride back was shorter than the ride there, but just as beautiful and the perfect way to end the tour. We will definitely be back—my daughter is already talking about it and can’t wait to ride Erica next time!
Highly recommend this tour for families looking for a memorable and safe adventure.

We had an unforgettable time at the Luquillo beach horseback riding experience with our family. The horse trainers were incredibly friendly, responsive, and organized from start to finish. The instructions were clear, the horses were gentle and well-trained, and the guides made sure everyone—kids and adults—felt safe and comfortable throughout the ride.
The views along the beach were breathtaking, and the entire experience was smooth with almost no waiting at any point. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation, and our family absolutely loved it.
We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Carabali Rainforest . Truly a memorable highlight of our trip!

Such an amazing experience in Luquillo. The explained everything very carefully, answered any questions that we had and was just very open spirited. Jonathan and Jexta was so awesome. Definitely book!!! And wear long pants I didnt listen to that I got bitten up by mosquitos.

Okay Jonathan is an absolute amazing tour guide! If you have the option, request him and if not wait until the time you can ride with his crew. He made it fun, brought music, interacted the whole time with the group, snagged pictures on peoples phones the whole time. A true tour guide pro! Definitely worth the $$$ and memories to last forever.

The experience was beyond expectations!. I recommend wearing the proper attire with closed toed shoes and athletic wear! The instructor will explain safety procedure. They will ask about the level of experience each person had even if none and match your weight with the appropriate horse. We got really lucky and it was only the two of us on this tour! We received vip experience in this 2.5 hour ride!. Alex was our tour guide he made us feel comfortable and safe! He offered to take pictures and videos!. The beach was BEAUTIFUL! We ended up at a bar right on the beach we ordered pina coladas, ceviche, arepas de coco(fried coconut bread), and spinach empanadas. It was picturesque!!

Angel and Anna were fantastic guides - we had such a blast with them. The area we rode through was beautiful, and the horses were amazing. They put you with a horse based on your experience, and everything was perfect. Highly recommend!!!

This experience was soo fun and definitely worth trying. Tour guides were amazing, especially Angel and Gio! They make sure they teach you how to ride before you take off so don’t worry.. and they also make sure that you get plenty of pictures. Come prepared, shoes can get a little dirty going through the rainforest but overall I had a fantastic time and I would definitely recommend!

Amazing! The instructors were so much fun and helped you relax and laugh! Everything was beautiful the most perfect day! The bar we stopped at was yummy and the drinks were strong! They even take pics and videos of you while on the ride and on the beach.We can’t wait to do it again

The experience was good, the trainer/tour guides were nice. Although it says you have time for swimming and relaxing which was not really given, juat a break where we got to have a drink and a quick appetizer. They kinda wanted to rush it more than anything but it was definitely a great experience. The horses were beautiful, the beach was breathtaking and riding a horse on a beach was amazing.

OMG... This is fascinating. Whether you are looking for a family, friend or romantic experience it checks off all the boxes. There's a little for everyone, woods, beach, sun and shade. Wait... the best surprise is a cooling off break. You can wet your feet, take pictures, have a drink, go to the bathroom and chat. The trail guide was great and aware of all the riders. Kudos. In addition to the horseback stables, the environment is a great place to go in all.
