Enjoyable day in the countryside. Powers Court is impressive and when the flowers are in bloom it will be stunning. Early spring is spare but still quite beautiful. Glendalough is very moving. Take the time to watch the video in the Visitor Center about the monastic communities across Ireland.

Extremely scenic and beautiful. Bring a camera and some good walking shoes. You will also learn a lot about the Wicklow and Glendalough areas, which was really nice.

Had a great day
Glendalough was beautiful, and Kilkenny had amazing old buildings. Getting to see the newborn lambs was a highlight of the trip.

Great way to see Wicklow...
Great way to see Wicklow and Glendalough without having to drive yourself. Derrick was a good guide and we had plenty of time at each spot. Be aware you might have people in your group doing a few different morning activities and may have to drop them off/pick them up before the hike. The upper and lower lakes in Glendalough were beautiful! I’d love to go back with more time in the future.

  • Glendalough is a popular attraction for history buffs, families seeking open spaces, and outdoor enthusiasts.

  • The ground may be soft or muddy, so pack your hiking boots and bring along layers of waterproof clothing.

  • To see the full complex, be prepared for a significant amount of walking, as the site is spread across several locations surrounding the two lakes.

  • Visit the Glendalough Visitor Centre, where a video and exhibition shed light on the history of the monuments.
