You will not just visit a "Quinta"; you will be invited to a private lunch at our 14th-century Solar and you will have the opportunity to talk about wines with Teresa, owner of a boutique producer, while they taste their best harvests. Guided by two local brothers, this experience focuses on authentic connection and not just seeing monuments. You’ll travel in a premium Mercedes wagon, sail the river in a traditional boat with Porto wine in hand and discover the “liquid gold” of the Truta family in their handmade olive oil lagar. This isn’t a guided tour — it’s a day spent with places that treat you like family. If you’re looking for an exclusive look “behind the gates” on the heritage, flavors and soul of the Douro, this is the right experience for you.

The landscape is breathtaking. The wine trail is about 5km long and easy for everyone to enjoy. After the trail and the connection with the land, it's time for a well-deserved lunch. Just a few steps away, we’ll take you to the elegant restaurant at Quinta da Pacheca, where you’ll be able to choose from a variety of delicious meals — always paired with exceptional wines. Highlights: 10:30 AM – Meeting point at Quinta da Pacheca wine estate, followed by a brief introduction to the activity and time for a toilet break. Then, enjoy about 2 hours of an easy and relaxing walking trail through the beautiful surroundings. 12:30 PM – Time for a delicious lunch served in one of the elegant dining rooms of the Pacheca estate. 2:30 PM – Time for a guided visit to the estate, where you’ll learn about the wine-making process — from Port to table wines. The experience ends with a high-quality wine tasting session. 3:30 PM – Tour ends at the same location where we first met.

In this activity we propose a visit to a “Boutique” cellar with a more educational approach with regard to guided tours, premium tasting and always accompanied by a sommelier and guide. Lunch can be done at the Quinta's restaurant or another to be defined. This is followed by a visit to a viewpoint in the region, followed by the opening of a bottle with the help of a saber. 1 hour ride on a “Rabelo” boat followed by another premium tasting.
