If you want to see more of Lake Como and Lugano, a city in Switzerland that borders Italy, in one day, this is the right choice. The guide, Adriano, was very patient and knowledgeable. You have a period where you can just explore the area on your own.

This was such a fun tour! Our boat driver/guide, Mario, was fantastic! He says he “only speaks a little English” but I’d say he actually speaks a lot and he speaks it very well. Our group was able to understand clearly when he was pointing out different villas and gardens around the lake. He was great at answering any questions we had too. He played music and offered prosecco about halfway through. There were also nonalcoholic options like water, juice, and coca-cola. He was able to keep the tour entertaining while still being informational. We went in early April, so it was about 50° F, and cloudy, but even with that, it was still a beautiful day and an overall wonderful experience. So, don’t be afraid to go, even on a cloudy day! Keep in mind, it is colder on the water, so make sure to bundle up if you are going in early spring. We booked this tour last minute, about two hours ahead of time, so we appreciated the flexibility of that as well. The meeting point was a little hectic because there were so many groups trying to get on their respective boats. Look for someone in a white shirt with “Salimar Tours” written in blue lettering. You can also ask any of the people in red hats selling other boat tours as they were nice enough to help direct us to the correct check-in people. It’s an experience, you’ll remember for a long time. This was a great bike ride through the small villages and around a good portion of the lake. This was definitely an excursion to ride a bike and not to necessarily sightsee. You really got to experience what it’s like to ride in their environment. We did stop at a couple cool spots and there was time for picture taking. Max was wonderful.

We cannot say enough about this experience. It was an absolutely marvelous day from start to finish. Are two tour guides were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were all a little concerned about getting on and off the boat, but with their help it was easy to do. The speedboat itself was so clean and comfortable. The tour around Lake Como was breathtaking. Cannot say enough about this tour.

What an amazing morning out on the beautiful Lake Como with Captain Alex! My family and I did a two hour tour, and it was an incredible way to spend the morning and see the lake and villages from the water and all the history behind the popular villas, villages, etc. Captain Alex is not only passionate about boating, but is a wealth of knowledge as he taught us interesting history and an amazing photographer! Don’t sit on booking this activity. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing day experience! Wish we took the boat out for longer (we only did 2 hours) so that we could see hotel Carlotta. But otherwise, our boat captain Luca was so nice and very knowledgeable. It will be something that we remember forever! Definitely a good value for what you pay for. On the dock they were selling the same price per person but just for 1 hour. The boat was nice and was perfect to zip around in. We didn’t feel rushed at all and had the boat for 2 hours.

Simone was awesome. Pick up and drop off was easy. We really enjoyed hearing about the lake communities from Simone and sharing a glass of prosecco on this beautiful lake. Highly recommend a private tour. It was one of our best experiences in Lake Como.

What a fun day on Lake Como! The boat was super clean and Leo was friendly and knowledgeable about all the villas around the lake. We wanted to swim and he showed us to a great spot where we got to climb a boulder and jump off! Would highly recommend!
