The tour guides were Phillip and Shaemus. Phillip was the tour guide and Shaemus was the bus driver. Glendalough, the Wicklow mountains, and Kilkenny are beautiful. The tour guides were excellent. If I were to change one thing, it would be to have an extra hour in Kilkenny. Overall, very nice tour and would recommend this tour to anyone!

Enjoyable day in the countryside. Powers Court is impressive and when the flowers are in bloom it will be stunning. Early spring is spare but still quite beautiful. Glendalough is very moving. Take the time to watch the video in the Visitor Center about the monastic communities across Ireland.

Extremely scenic and beautiful. Bring a camera and some good walking shoes. You will also learn a lot about the Wicklow and Glendalough areas, which was really nice.

A nice relaxing way to experience glendalough and kilkinney. The strikes were going on due to the cost of petrol and Alex (driver) and Jerry (tour guide) made sure we stayed on track even as we encountered some road blocks. Jerry provided great info about the area as we drive through the country side. Of course I would have loved more time in both places but not possible when doing a day tour from Dublin. It was well worth it and would recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin.

  • Glendalough is a popular attraction for history buffs, families seeking open spaces, and outdoor enthusiasts.

  • The ground may be soft or muddy, so pack your hiking boots and bring along layers of waterproof clothing.

  • To see the full complex, be prepared for a significant amount of walking, as the site is spread across several locations surrounding the two lakes.

  • Visit the Glendalough Visitor Centre, where a video and exhibition shed light on the history of the monuments.
