Fantastic experience!
My family and I absolutely loved this tour and we were all so impressed by our guide, Shankar. We chose the 7 site tour as our time in Kathmandu was limited and we wanted to see as much as possible. Shankar explained so much about culture, history, art, and religion plus he answered all of our many questions. Our driver was excellent and saved us so much time. Every site was worthwhile. Highly recommend both the tour and Shankar.

An Unforgettable and Well-Organized Journey with Tej
Tej is an exceptionally experienced and professional guide. He made our visit both meaningful and enjoyable with his knowledge and attentive guidance. Although completing all seven UNESCO sites in a single day may seem quite demanding, Tej managed the itinerary very efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow and a comfortable pace throughout the tour. Overall, it was an excellent experience. While the day was understandably tiring, the sense of accomplishment at the end was truly rewarding. I would highly recommend this tour, especially with Tej as your guide.

I had a great experience...
I had a great experience on the 4 UNESCO sites tour in Kathmandu. All of the sites were fascinating and offered a unique insight into Nepal’s rich culture and history. Our guide, Summit, was excellent—very knowledgeable and engaging. He provided detailed information at each location, helping us truly understand the significance of what we were seeing. The tour was also very well organised, with a good pace and enough time at each site to explore without feeling rushed. Overall, it was an enjoyable and informative experience that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Amazing!!!
What an amazing day! I highly recommend this experience-it is not to be missed! My guide Puspa was real treasure. She made everywhere we went come alive with her stories, knowledge and wonderful sense of humor! Our driver Shanti was a miracle worker in the chaos of the roads here. She drove so safely and perfectly! We also had an amazing lunch at the homestay house of Sarina. That was one of the best meals I have had in all Nepal. Her hospitality was beyond measure. This organization also supports women in every working capacity and I sure appreciate that. Don’t miss this experience!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

If you’re in Kathmandu and want to get out and do some hiking, but not go too far afield, there are plenty of options. Some top Kathmandu hiking tours go to ancient capitals such as Bhaktapur and Panauti where the pace of life is slower than in Kathmandu, and it can feel like you’re stepping back in time. Nagarkot and Dhulikel are only a few hours away, and hiking between them gets you a taste of Nepali countryside and village life, with white-capped mountain views around you when the weather’s clear.
